DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 5

Is the jeans and t-shirt look only for the origin? He'll eventually get that armour suit, right?

Yeah, apparently he picks up those jeans when he is visiting Kandor, the Levi shrink fit style is very popular down there, Superman sits in the bath at the start of every issue before going into action.

Just read Flashpoint #5 and I'm lost on some story points.

1) Did Barry forget he's the one who altered history because his memories had already begun aligning with the Flashpoint universe's?

2) Did the maximum amount of speed force energy Barry used to change history, make history unstable so that past events changed on their own?

3) Was that talking head some kind of embodiment of the Big Bang that formed the DCnU?

The ending seemed to imply an upcoming threat in the DCnU. But since the DCnU is meant to attract new and former readers, I'm guessing references to Flashpoint might be limited or non-existent to prevent confusion. Barry remembers the world of Flashpoint, but I don't think anyone else does. And I don't think even Barry remembers the old DCU, or that the new DCU is made up of the 3 timelines. As a previous poster mentioned that's how the new DCU has always been.

aren't there comic stores online you can order from??
There are indeed. I'm partial to www.heavyink.com. I still buy my Marvel and DC stuff at my local shop, but I've been using Heavy Ink more for indie stuff, since my shop can't afford to risk ordering many of them.

I think that Detective comics should have come back to the basic and become an anthology comic, or in least show Batman's early adventures to conect the old stories that are still canon with the new ones

By the way, why do some comics have 40 pages while others only have 20?
Normally the first issue of a series starts with a 40 pages comic.

Yes. I'm calling inanimate objects *****.

Do you hear yourself? I'm gonna spit in your mouth tonight while you sleep. :o

I blame the hype.

They don't black out dick, but they blackout *****. :o

The S makes it vulgar. :awesome:

Imagine how sad Nightwing fans would be if we blocked it without the S. :)

The joke that never gets old, (I love dick) would be ruined. :o

So you guys prefer 20 pages?

It's actually happened to me a couple of times in regards to Nightwing. Hype literally forces me to use correct grammar. :o

I don't think anybody prefers 20-page comics if 40-pagers are an option. But our preference doesn't really matter in the end, does it?

Apostrophes are your friend. :)

Unfortunatelly, but making the first issue longer normally makes more people buy the comics, ultime spider-man 1 did that
