I can understand Liefeld's point about Shatterstar just in the context that I feel that characters should always be handled in a way that is consistent with their creators intentions. Roy Thomas did not intend Obsidian to be gay but was okay with it once it was done, but from a creative point of view (not a legal point of view, obviously), then Marvel making Shatterstar bisexual is something Leifeld has the right to complain about, although using any sort of derogatory language is going way too far. I have heard that Marvel did it to take a shot at him, which is bigoted in itself, although maybe he had said some homophobic things and that's why they did it.
Regardless, he sucks as a writer and an artist, Shatterstar sucks as a character, and apparently this jackass is getting Hawkman's book cancelled, even though it wasn't very good anyway. So yeah...**** Rob Liefeld.

and the one that Peter David made fun of him for saying is that Shatterstar couldn't possibly like men because he's a 'warrior'
