It wasn't like that. That's something as I said in the ps4 thread that only started recently. I was in the Beta for both this marvel heroes and STO(star trek online) and stayed a bit for 3.

(I'm still on the Marvel heroes, one. And I'm supposed to return to the DCUO PC side as some buddies I have to keep a promise to.)

Before them and it was marvel heroes that has that feature and few others from last year with some certain games . Ok I'm out later.

yes I ment the feature play as you done load, was new over all. I'd like to know how many disc base ones will be using the feature too on the ps4

The downloading is fine but it's the installing that worries me and so being part of that feature or not is the main deal breaker for me

I'll just say it's a new bigger hard drive space and originally cloud systems was used to help with both the Down loading and storage issue . And that means down load speed as well.

But this is something you'll have to see for yourself once you pick up the ps4. Hopefully things will run smoothly. "Hopefully"

Game Update 31, the latest patch for DC Universe Online, has officially been deployed across all servers. GU31 begins the process of paving the way for the game's eventual deployment on PlayStation 4 and includes graphical updates, player reward updates, mainframe updates and much more.

Leveling Content Update!

• Players should no longer find themselves without a mission when completing leveling content.
• We now guide players to level 30 better, by giving them the most important missions first and then granting missions that are relevant to their Combat Rating.
• Missions granted at level 30 are now chained to prevent players from receiving an unreasonable amount of missions at once when they reach level 30.
• Reduced the amount of experience required to reach levels 8 through 29. Players within this range may log in and find their level increased. The experience required to reach level 30 remains unchanged.
• We did a pass on leveling content NPCs, removing abilities that seemed unfair and updating abilities and visual effects where needed. Weaker enemies in leveling content may now use attacks that are vulnerable to block or interrupt and can be countered. However, weak enemies still cannot inflict counters on you and only have vulnerability to counter mechanics.
• The level of enemies in the three final episodes has been reduced.
• Updated leveling content with new icons and made an icon consistency pass to improve messaging.
• Fixed leveling content bugs.

Heads up to anyone starting this on the PS4. For some reason the in-game UI is too big for the screen by default, despite your system level screen size settings. There is a picture scale setting in the in-game UI settings menu, I set it about half way, fits good now.

Also this game makes the controller's light bar change colors way too often.

I queued up all my digital games to download overnight. So I don't know for sure how long it took.

Cool but what about installing to the hdd?,Was that done overnight too?,When you booted up the game it went straight to the main menu/character customizer?

Does your character transfer over? I haven't logged onto the game in months, id assume my characters have been deleted and the names sent back out to the public.

The only issue of your characters possibly not being there would be from you not having played in a while, like in years. But that was in the old days of the MMO era. So hopefully that's not the case with this. It shouldn't be anyway.

Well i mean i wouldn't be that upset. I don't think its fair for me to sit on the name of my character if i haven't logged on for 6 months. I was just curious.

Ghost Rider is coming to the rival to this . Well they put out their forum for him and they have some images of his character model. Right now they just have put out Gambit on their test center for the public to give feedback for that one

Yeah it's in spoilers cause it's has nothing to do with DCUO.

Yea i made an awesome Al Simmons character when i first started the game. Even had the burned face under the mask. It was pretty sick.

Yeah I had Legendary for a month and got a few, if I were to get it again I'd probably get a Platinum unlocked as I have all the requirements for the non-DLC trophies. It's very annoying.

There were some images I saw but I think it's was taken down to be shown again after Gambit's been released. of which the latter's on the test center now. He'll be following Gambit soon. That's all I can say for now.

Watching some great PS4 live streams on twitch,I was thinking of making a Judge Dredd inspired super cop and be Acrobatic/Dual Pilstols and Gadgets..But most people have badass costumes and powers so my paramilitia/super cop hero would be too generic.

I rather be one of many angels than one of the very minority generic super cops
