What´s the problem? Humor is subjective. This one seemed very basic and juvenile. Just because a less serious line is delivered by a costumed super hero doesn´t make it instantly good.

The movie still looks fun though. I will give it a try.

I was very pleased with what I saw yesterday. This truly does look like it's going to be the surprise hit of 2016. Hopefully it will teach Fox that honoring the source material is the way to go.
I will say this, there were two jokes that didn't land. The "Rosie O'Donnell" line and "I'm going to touch myself tonight" felt pretty forced.
EDIT: I just saw that Reynolds opened up the panel with "from the studio that inexplicably sewed his mouth shut the first time". That is gold.

Sorry but no way haha

As someone who actually attended the con/hall h yesterday, and as someone who doesn't like fox nor Warner brothers, I'd have to say fox honestly blew me away. Tbh the most interesting thing from wb was Pan followed by Suicide Squad. BvS didn't do much for me, sure we saw a few clips of WW and Lex in the trailer but the QandA was boring and over all the trailer didn't do much for me.

Fox on the other hand just went hard, the trailers were good, the QandA sections were all good, and just the overall atmosphere of it was more enjoyable. It's a little hard to describe but I don't know how people can't see this comic con as a overall domination by fox.

The BvS trailer will probably remain my favorite thing to come out of this years comic con, but Deadpool is a close second. I love that the audience chanted "one more time!" after it was over.

"Usual". I've never said one bad thing about AOU previously. I've only ever commented on the reaction it got.

And i didn't say it was bad just now I said it was safe

Personally, I found the first movie to be much safer than the sequel, which I enjoyed more. It's a pity that Marvel Studios felt the need to tinker with Joss Whedon's cut.

I hate the bootleg trailer. I would prefer to watch it in all its HD glory. :hmr:

What a great trailer. I love how it juggles the seriousness (in the first part) with Deadpool's over the top nature and the comedy. I really liked the jokes, and especially the exchange between Wade and Weasel. Wade's and Vanessa's relationship is also gonna be a highlight.

A few weeks ago... no one agreed with me when I said that Fox would steal the spotlight at this year's 2015... people were saying it was gonna be WB because according to source, they were gonna pull out their big guns and its just Suicide Squad (their panel was done quickly) and BVS which already had a trailer release a few months ago and it was their 2nd trip to the comic-con.

However Fox.... just with group superhero selfie with Stan Lee just tops it all!

I'll be honest, I hope the trailer released with FF is different than what was show at SDCC... I just wasn't a fan of the humor. A bit too juvenile for my liking. :/

I think there was a Green Lantern reference which made me giggle.

the humor was perfect to me, especially tj miller's lines. dude is brilliant in silicon valley and it looks to be the same here.

Deadpool is kinda juvenile on the exterior. He does try too hard to be funny. That is his character. But it's all a facade. He's laughing on the outside, but crying on the inside. As long as the film shows this aspect to the character, which it has gotta considering it is what defines him, we should be all good.

Exactly. He's similar to Seann William Scott's character in "Cop Out" on the outside. But when it all comes together, the story, his supporting characters, the heart of the character, it'll all be much clearer and make more sense.

TJ Miller is freakin' hilarious. I didn't think of it much due to my lack of familiarity with both Miller and a lot of the DP stories, but this is some great casting!!

Yeah the guy is hilarious. The banter between him and Chris Hardwick at the panel was just toooo funny

Anyway, I think 20th Century Fox won't release this online as they probably put it together exclusively for Comic Con. In fact, it seems more like a trailer made specifically for the Comic Con crowd, made to show that they've got the character right and that they're going all out with the R-rating.

I think they will use a different trailer for the theatrical and online debut. And I wouldn't even bet on it popping up in August. I could see Fox releasing the first trailer and starting the official marketing campaign around October.

With all the good reaction this is getting, I would be shocked if it isn't "leaked" online sometime soon. I mean, the internet is pretty much what got the movie made.

Liked hearing the jabs at the GL flop and the terrible misuse of Deadpool in that horrible Wolverine movie. I can't find too much to complain about in this trailer. Starting to be hyped for this film!!

It's already leaked though. A full version. But the quality isn't great as expected.
