I was definitely hoping for something more grotesque, but I'm ok with it. In the comics the extend of his scarring already changes depending on the artist.

He's still ugly in the movie, just not extremely so.

I'm guessing they cut some stuff so that the only people who got to see that (clearly) were those who attended ComiCon.

I never read Deadpool comics. But this just looks great and feels like it's gonna be a lot of fun.

I've read a couple. I used to Love a similar character Ambush Bug at DC and always thought a cross over with those two would be great

I'm pretty happy with the make-up. I don't want him so gross it makes me nauseous. It feels like a good compromise between Wade being messed up and the audience still being able to make out Reynold's pretty mug underneath.

BTW yall should all read that breakdown with the director if you haven't. It answers a few questions I've seen here.

Yeah, Miller was against the more groteseque depictions of Wade. He wanted him to be "suitably hideous" and not leaking pus out of his mouth.

How is this going to be connected to the X-Men films if it's not the same Deadpool from Origins? Is there another Wade Wilson? It would've made sense if he wasn't seen again after the team split up and this was supposed to continue from the last time we saw him.

It's slightly tricky to guess what all changed until Apocalypse hits and what they do with the new Storm/Cyclops/Jean, etc. and how timeline B's past relates to the current timeline/future of the next slate of films.

Only thing I didn't like was the really old soundtrack (uhhh Salt & Peppa and DMX???). What happened to the "Holla Back Girl" that played in the test footage? That was funnier.

Can't wait for this though. My most anticipated CBM of 2016.

Which I was hoping would be the direction they take. But I was so worried, when I saw them with metal head on set, which people said would be used for lighting references and might be an indication of how he'd look in the final product. But luckily he looks nothing like that at all. Gone are the days of the T-1000 Colossus. Finally he looks like he's supposed to look. And it only took 4 Movies to get it right.

I'll never know why the changed Colossus's design from X2, I thought he looked awesome there, then ****ing Ratner had to change it and we were stuck with it then until DOFP.

For a first time director as well Miller has nailed so much, the action looks superb as well.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that thinks this looks bad. Not in the "I'm cool because I don't like this thing" sort of way. I'm happy for you guys and mad at myself for not being into it.

I'm all for an R-Rated raunch fest superhero movie but it just feels forced in this. Like cussing for the sake of cussing. I'll definitely be seeing this first weekend though because like I said I have found zero people that agree with me.

The "Negasonic Teenage What the" was the most cringeworthy so far. Just forced.

Can't wait to be proven wrong. I REALLY like TJ Miller.

This movie looks amazing. The Russos proved themselves to such degree that I have to look forward to Civil War the most next year, but I'm starting to think that Deadpool will be my second most anticipated superhero movie of 2016. Of course there's a few movies we haven't seen anything from yet so it can change, but it still looks highly entertaining and will most likely be the most fresh take on a superhero in a while.
