Deadpool DEADPOOL: User Review Thread (SPOILER FREE)

Finally saw it, a very good movie.
It was hilarious, so many good jokes:
I'm taking you back to the professor."
"McAvoy or Stewart, these timelines confuse me."
:woot:

Finally saw this today. Don't see what all the hype is about. It trys too hard to be funny and clever. Its like a bad Family Guy episode without any funny parts.

"McAvoy or Stewart, these timelines confuse me." Is the only line that made me smile.

It's an orgy of Hollywood cliches and one-liners. It's unfunny and borders on complete crap.

Whoever finds this stuff funny must love every generic Hollywood movie ever made, they all have the same soulless, dead, cheesy jokes repeated over and over and over and over again. Yet they somehow seem to still make people laugh. I wish I were that simple-minded, everything would be funny for all eternity. The story is exactly as predictable as you thought after the first 5 minutes of the movie.

And to all those saying "But that's how Deadpool is, haven't you read the comicl?" No I haven't. Reading a comic shouldn't be a requirement to watching a good movie. I didn't read the comic for Watchmen. In fact, Watchmen was superb.

You didnt like is so what. That's just your opinion man.

Yeah, it's just a matter of opinion. You didn't like it, and that's perfectly fine. Doesn't make people who love it simple minded, though.

I, for example, hate Zack Snyder's Watchmen (while loving the graphic novel) and love Deadpool.
