Deadpool & Wolverine Deadpool & Wolverine Rotten Tomatoes watch thread

Bringing back RDJ, the Russos and perhaps also Jackman signals that the studio (more likely the top bosses and shareholders) want to get the MCU back on track, so they are looking to what worked well before. It's a common practice in business to base upcoming activities on previous successes, as no one can predict the future.

Having RDJ as Dr Doom does feel very odd, admittedly.

Case in point, JJ Abrams returning to Star Wars when he was supposed to be done with the franchise after Force Awakens. They wanted Abrams to recreate the magic he achieved with Force Awakens when Star Wars' popularity was at its absolute highest again.

When Doomsday/Secret Wars get the same critical reception as X-Men: The Last Stand, Spider-Man 3 and The Rise of Skywalker....

Hopefully with Disney decreasing the workload of Marvel Studios, the final product of those 2 movies won't be as bad as the other big movies I've mentioned. Though after 4 critically acclaimed Marvel films, I feel like it would be a challenge for the Russo Brothers to live up to the hype for their 5th and 6th Marvel film. Right now I'm just hoping Doomsday/Secret Wars are at least going to be better than Age of Ultron.

Personally speaking, I have zero use for user ratings and I just ignore them. That isn't why I go to Rotten Tomatoes. I wish that site would just focus on critics reviews/ratings.

Like if Oppenheimer and Barbie had twins it would be Deadpool & Wolverine........kind of.

It's like if Ken and J. Robert Oppenheimer had a crossover movie where they have to team up to stop Albert Einstein's evil twin.
