Dude, there've been like 3 Silver Surfer mini-series in 2 years. Why do they need to "calm down" with it?

Requiem, he's all over Ultimate FF, now this. I don't understand the need to have him in my face so often these days.

3's more than a lot of characters have had in the last 2 years.

Requiem, he's all over Ultimate FF, now this. I don't understand the need to have him in my face so often these days.

3's more than a lot of characters have had in the last 2 years.

And a lot less than others who've had ongoings for decades are getting right now. Silver Surfer's a major Marvel character, so I don't think Annihilation, Requiem, and In Thy Name are really too much of the character or anything. None of that Unverse nonsense counts.

Sadly, every time I see someone replace Ultimate with "Unverse", my first thought is they spelled something wrong.

What is it supposed to mean? Ultimate is an Un-Universe? Like anti-universe?

As for Surfer, he just had a movie this year. Any character who appears in a movie gets increased appearences. Notice all the extra Sandman/Venom/Black Costume Spidey this year? Or Doc Ock around 2004? Wonder why that happened?

I didn't think it was too much, though. Surfer is worthy of remaining out of limbo.

I think it originally was a misspelling on PJ's part. It just stuck after that. I like to think of it as a contraction for "unimportant universe."

And the Surfer's increase in appearances was from zero. A lot of characters in the Initiative are just being seen again for the first time in years. Guess they must be "everywhere" too.
