Deleted Scenes?!! [Spoilers!]

Although cool looking, the giant symbiote creature was just the shell of Venom & there wasn't much Spidey could have done to fight it besides keeping on banging on the pipes or blowing it up like in the movie but with Eddie as Venom Spidey did have someone that he could actually fight with & beat up.

True.. I actually didn't think of it like that. But.. what if when Brock died the symbiote just took Brocks form & can live off of him like that now?? <That way the symbiote would more or less be Brock, but just totally out of control, & the only reason why he keeps it is because he doesn't want to die>.. If they explained it something like that (except better lol) in a future SPM movie when Venom returns (he could), then I think Venom may be the main & only villian.

--I just want to get out that, just because Brock is dead.. which is still not a 100% sureity right now.. the symbiote can still live on if it adapted Brock's features & what not--

Here are the pics, i was talking about earlier, of the Pasadena location which i presume is doubled as the Stacys residence. I forgot that i (luckily) had these saved. I say luckily because they aren't on IESB's site anymore.

The man with the glasses in the 3rd shot is the director of photography Bill Pope.

While we saw a lot being filmed, I could only take a few shots. I definately didn't want my camera confiscated for shooting without permission! Most of the day was spent doing interior shots of the house with Bryce Dallas Howard. There were about 5 or 6 cars parked around with New York license plates on.

Becky Ann Baker (Dylan Baker's wife) played Mrs.Stacy but i don't recall seeing her in the final film.This was more than likely her scene.

Nice find, some pictures like these have already been shown but not these exact ones. & If this is really the Staceys house im sure this deleted scene will add onto the characters of Gwen & Cpt. (which is great)

What does anybody know about these shots? I found them in one of the trailers. Looks like it was from the part where Peter wakes up upsidedown with the black suit and then jumps off?

I think it was closer to 20 minutes. And even before filming started, Raimi was forced to cut out around 15 pages from the script. So there was a lot more to this story than we saw in theaters.

i certainly hope that spider-man is releases on dvd normally and extended the same day. i REALLY hope for this. i won't by both or anything, but i don't want to wait for an extended version forever. hopefully the movie extends more than 5 minutes.

8. mary jane having a longer speach
9. harry talking to his dad more

so i'm assuming that at least 5 minutes... i miss any that are confirmed as filmed?

i certainly hope that the deleted scenes aren't just listed on the dvd under 'deleted scenes' and it's as simple as that...that stuff needs to be put back in the film if it actually is good enough and works in the story as is already presented.
the scene with peter seeing the 'dark spider-man' in the mirror needs to be in there as well since most likley that scene and the symbiote spidey flippin gthough the city during the day are linked.
most of those scenes are either alternate versions of what we got (in which case having them listed under 'deleted scenes' is fine by me) or things that were cut for pacing, such as the flint penny marko storyline in which he is trying to find a cure for her, further explaining what his role in the movie is

anybody know of any other scenes that i missed?

In the novelisation Gwen heads to the construction site after seeing the TV, but I don't think she is mentioned after that......

wasnt there supposed to be a seen with just gwen and MJ. I rememember Kirsten wouldnt shut up about that scene and how glad she got to have a scene where she could really show her acting skills. then she talked about how great it was acting with another girl or something. i just rememberd that one. when i the movie finished i was like, hey, MJ and Gwen never had their scene... Kirsten must have been pretty mad that got cut. haha

They should release a Director's Cut the same time the theatrical version hits the shelves. Sadly they won't, studios love to double dip. I'm hoping Raimis' unedited version is better than what we ended up getting in the theatres...although im still wondering how the film would have turned out if Avi hadn't forced Raimi to include Venom after they had already started.
