You know, i was thinking, and it seems to me like Jett's just trying to cover his bases so he doesn't get a repeat of the Ledger casting. Everyone ripped on BOF because he didn't see Ledger coming, so Jett probably put out this update as a way to ensure people cant do that again. Think about it, if it's someone previously mentioned, Jett can say "you heard about that here first!" and if its someone never mentioned, Jett can say "well i said it would be someone never mentioned". Think about it.

This Dent speculation is really stretching now. It's getting almost as bad as the whole "Hulme vs Bettany" scenario.

The only reason I'm even looking forward to the announcement anymore is because it'll end this.

Nope, we still have the "Joker's Look" threads, the "New Batsuit?" the "Other Villains," "Fight Scene Editing," and the "Cameos" threads. Not to mention we will always have the "Can Nolan's Batman and Singer's Superman live in the same universe?" threads.

Once this is over something else is sure to pop up. This really isnt gonna end until like December 2011, if we are lucky.

I agree stop the BOF hating ( oh here we go yet again!) things do change....Michael Caine said filming was starting in March and I KNOW from one of the crew (Martin Kingsley....props, whom I have been working with on a film called EXODUS) that crewing does not start till MARCH! so shooting cannot start till the crew is ready to go....without the crew ya cant do turd!.....and I also have been working with Jimmy O'Dee who was Ken Watanabbe's stunt double when 'cough' Ra's and Bruce fight in the Leauge of Shadows place....shook thier hands I tell ya....quite intresting the people I have worked with on Exodus done loads of films especisly stunt team....They hope to be called up again for TDK and Jim is actually Paul Bettney's personal stunt double so had he got the Joker part then he (Jim) would have been on it and i would have crap loads of stuff to tell you ...(we swaped email address etc)

All the actors people are throwing out there are great. And given Nolan's talent I think any of them could work with the right script

Denzel would be unbelievable, but i would have a tough time belieiving he would take a smaller role for this movie, although he would basically be the 2nd lead in 3 he would be at best the third main character in TDK

my first choice, i have no clue if he is anywhere close to being in the running or not, but i am a monster clive owen fan and i think he would be a mega hardcore Dent
