Dexter - Part 3

I hope that the writers of the show had some consultancy with Jeff Lindsay about how they are going to end it for Dexter. Obviously the Dexter we love from the series isn't the one he wrote but he created the character nonetheless so deserves to have some say.

I think that Dexter won't be killed, I know the show is about killing but can you really visualise Dexter being killed? I can't.

What I do want is a happy ending for Dexter. I'd be fine with him continuing his life until his natural death.

Something quite funny to see as a final scene would be shots of a criminal on Dexter's table, we hear Dexter's voice but we can't see him. When the knife plunges down it cuts to Dexter's face now revealed grinning away, but it's different. Dexter is at least in his 60's, still ridding the world of the ones that get away. *ding*

Man, I have total faith at this point it will be an awesome oh ****!!!! Kinda finale.
SURPRISE MOTHER****ER!

i had a similar idea where we don't know if Dexter dies or gets away... then it cuts to a final scene of Dex as an older man, taking out the trash.

That would be cool. :)

its going to be interesting seeing what goes on now that Isaak is gone... hopefully this arsonist storyline ends tonight.

Im so sick of hannah. ..keeps texting dex now lol

went from ****** episode to pretty awesome... the LaGuerta stuff is getting real good. CANT WAIT for

Matthews and Dexters conversation.... i hate how LaGuerta and matthews didnt see how obvious it is Dex is the BHB...he cuts hit victims into pieces just like brian did :lmao:

Go Quinn! Think blood work from the shooting could bring Quinn and Dexter back into each other's paths? We can hope

they did make it a point to continue reminding us that Dexter wasn't at the scene... cool stuff... hopefully they dont try squeezing stuff like that and everything else into the last 2 episodes

So glad they resolved the arson murderer but it seems like it was just filler. Also find it hard to believe that Hannah believed Dexter just talked her father into leaving.

I don't know, I feel like this season was still doing well despite a very slightly decline since the end of episode 6. Tonight felt like a sharp drop. I think taking away Isaak was a big mistake, and hyping up the arsonist as a big bad turned out to be nothing.

Season isn't ruined by any means, but I guess now I feel more like how others felt a few episodes ago. Tonight's episode seemed like a season 6 type episode. It was all over the place.

Tonight's episode was awesome, IMO. The story really went forward.

IMO, it seems like this season would be better as 10 episodes... they finished the Isaak story, and have the huge BHB story remaining... most of the time, our filler episodes are 5,6,7... but Isaak and some of Hannah really made those episodes matter... and now its been fillers, but with purpose... I think the next (and last) 2 episodes of the season are either going to be mind blowingly awesome, or huge duds leading up to an expected and rather 'really?' feeling type cliffhanger.
