fairly good episode tonight. **** is going down the next 3 episodes

I just want to find out what happens with Masuka. I don't think that girl is his daughter.
He did the blood test so unless he really screwed it up or she figured out how to fake blood, it's his daughter.

she could be Brian and Dexters long lost sister.

Yeah still not feeling it. Just can't shake the "who the **** is this guy?" feeling from Saxon. He just came outta nowhere now is all of a sudden the big bad of not just the series but now the show.

More happened this week but it still felt like a slog to get through. I'm not viewing this as just a run of the mill series. I'm viewing it as a final ever series. And in that case 9 episodes in it is still really under performing for me.

I also can't believe that the
hurricane
mentioned in the episode synopsis a few pages back is an
ACTUAL HURRICANE!
I just thought the synopsis meant everything was coming to a end not literally a plot point.

Just 3 more episodes. I've lost interest in anything that happens, but I certainly will ride it out to the end.

I concur with those who say tonight's episode was fairly good. I feel like all the pieces are in place for the endgame at this point. The lines are drawn in the sand, we know who the all the players are and what the motivations are for the most part. I think we're done with misdirection and the stage is finally set for the final 3. I have to say, Vogel has remained an extremely interesting character for me. Definitely one of my favorites of all the guest stars throughout the seasons.

I also don't think the reveal of the true Brain Surgeon was too left field...I called it after watching last week's episode. And no, I haven't read any of the spoilers.

All criticism aside......

People... Yvonne in that pink dress... WOW.

Oh come on, are you serious? A character that didn't even exist at the beginning of this season, had like maybe 13 seconds of screen time before now isn't out of left field?

I'm really looking forward to the last three episodes. My theory for the slowness of the season up until now is that we needed a lot of build up for whatever the writers have planned for the finale. I have a feeling it's going to be something special. The only way for it to have been a just end to this epic series is for all the pieces to matter. The season made those pieces matter. Now it's finally going to be Showtime!!! (I hope I'm right!!!)

People said this episode was better but I'm still indifferent to it. Felt like my mind was on autopilot with what was happening. I really hope a certain spoiler point that was revealed a couple of weeks ago turns out not to be true. But sadly it might be.

looks to me that Saxon and Quinn have a big scene where Quinn figures **** out..... maybe even ignores it for deb

If that happens, Reek, then it'll all be worth it. That's all I want at this point. At least Quinn, please just give us that one piece of the pie you teased us with and ill at least say it was ALL bad.

the preview for the final 3 episodes......

Saxon is talking to Quinn. something is going down with Quinn.. i know it! his reconnection with Deb...SOMETHING IS COMING>

why does'nt the dude have a british accent tho lol

Was born and raised in America for 14 years, spent a minimum of 3 years in England and clearly returned at some point after his time in England. That's why.

I can't believe there's only 3 episodes left and they're showing us Deb and Hana eating salad.

Absolutely nothing has happened that has warranted 9 episodes (roughly 7.5 hours of programming) of build up IMO. Zack's dead, the brain surgeon stuff was seemingly all done...

To me this has done a Chuck. It had one story going going for it (brain surgeon), then halfway through it suddenly ditches that for another (Zack) then one final storyline is brought in to round off the show with a character that has come out of ******* nowhere (Saxon). All done in possibly the most unfocused season out of the whole show. The one season which should only really have had one central focus.

Yeah this his how I feel.

Looking back it makes sense for him to be the Brain surgeon. I think it was very subtle what they did like the Talia AL' Ghul reveal in TDKR. If you weren't paying attention it wouldn't make sense. Only looking back does it make sense at all to me.

Our first introduction to Saxon was at the party with Cassie. This is also around the time the Brain Surgeon that Dexter was actively hunting became aware of his involvement. Now it is clear that he was not playing the loving boyfriend not just for her. He was also rubbing Dexter's nose in the fact how close he could get to him without him even knowing it. Just as he demonstrated in this past episode when Dexter thought he was was unaware of him stalking him but he knew the whole time.

The framing of Zach took someone who knew of their relationship outside of the psychotic family of Hannah and Vogel. No one else they intentionally showed knew of their relationship.Clearly Cassie knew who he was and by extension or proximity of Saxon constantly being attached to her hip. Except on Zach's final trip to Dexter's apartment where on that night Cassie was killed.

Dexter's gonna have a 3some with Hannah & Deb @ her house!

I wouldve preferred Issac Sirko be used as the final villain.

Honestly, disappointed in the final season of Dexter.
