Dexter - Part 5

That was in part by the actress Lisa Edelstein leaving the series so they threw together that pretty much out of nowhere since I'm assuming they'd intended to go another direction with House only to do a "soft reboot" on him before the series ended.

I thought I read somewhere that Lisa Edelstein left in frustration over the abrupt change to the originally intended storyline which would have seen that season be the last?

Maybe that's what happened but as I remember it she wanted to move onto other projects. It's one of those "whose side do you believe?" kind of stories I guess.

I know this is being nit picky, but I couldn't get passed the fact that the Hospital that House works would be looked upon as just horrible. Every patient they always had trouble finding out what was wrong with them. I found that very hard to follow, plus what was up with them breaking into peoples house? You can do that as a doctor?

No you can't enter a patients house without permission.

In defense of House, his group was given patients with hard to diagnose and misleading or contradictory symptoms. They weren't there for the easy or simple to cure diseases.

Tonight's the night... and it's going to happen again and again...

Disappointment.

I'm hoping it starts to take the finale seriously and lead up to something but I also have a feeling they're going to keep going as if it were another episode of a regular season.

This season feels like watching a car crash in slow motion.

I live in the UK so I pretty much judge this to see when the show begins/ends. Sooo how long till the new episode begins/ends tonight (in minutes)?

just ended. eastern standard time

Oh. And it was a borefest yet again?

Woo.
Hoo.

Jeez look at the Breaking Bad thread compared to this.

pretty damn boring and useless... Saxon is a freaking wackjob though... the ending was cool lol

Harrison is annoying. Wtf is the reason for masuka's daughter to be around at all? And ****ing Jamie and Quinn was annoying as always. I love Dexter, and love Breaking Bad. But Breaking Bad each episode is intense and awesome and you know it's the final season. So far this season with Dexter feels like a regular season. Doesn't feel like the end.

At least now that Vogel's dead hopefully it will pick up on the hunt for Saxon and give us one last badass Dexter kill room scene.

Two more episodes, I guess.

I had zero expectations going into this season, but it just hasn't interested me at all.

But Dex and Hannah are in wuv with each other. Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

I mean, all these different story lines... for...what exactly? Even if they all tie together and blah blah blah... who gives a ****? i could care less about Deb and Miami Metro, Dex and a worthless plotline involving hannah and random 'little lundy'...

i dont even want to continue, but god damn.

How horrible would it be they just move to Argentina and that's the end hahaha.

Did I miss something? whats with the kill room Dex sets up? He says he hasn't been there in a while?

Is that where Dexter killed his "frist" victim in the pilot? If so I don't know what that has to do with anything other than Saxon supposedly being his "final" kill.

nah his first kill was that nurse in her living room... i dunno wtf that room was?

I know that's why I put "first". The first one shown in the series that was in the pilot.
