Dexter - Part 5

The latest twist I heard on the spoiler ending is [blackout]at the very end of the episode we find out that Argentina is all in Dexter's head and they never leave Miami[/blackout] but that could just be made up.

I do actually agree that negativity can get out of hand sometimes. It really starts to snowball, too, when you have a lot of people saying the same things. But, on the other hand, I think a lot of the criticism has been pretty on the nose. I feel there's a few here who just want to see praises sung while ignoring some very noticeable flaws in the season

That would be the worst upon the worst

I agree and I'm hoping the source was either pulling their leg or straight up lying because it totally ruins the ending even more than the supposed spoiled original ending would be.

For those who want to see it for themselves: spoiler link to the "real" ending. It's at the bottom and has a large disclaimer.

This is the first time I don't see a new episode right away (still haven't seen it) and I'm reading all the spoilers. I'm usually spoiler-free because I like to be surprised (I come from the Lost world, where it was basically all cliffhanger and "don't want to know anything!"), but I just don't care what happens anymore with Dexter. It's sad.
It's so clear that the creativity and the strong writing/characters had a major setback in this last couple of seasons, but specially this last one. And apparently is very noticeable because I can read I'm not the only one who feels that way.
Oh well!

this gif pretty much sums up how i feel.

That is a large adult man... lol

Why even show the fall if his arm totally stopped him from hitting his chin?

Oh come on! As much as people have the right to hate. People have the right to disagree with that.

As annoying as it is. They have a right IMO....

No, everything that I read a while back has happened almost to the T. That includes exactly how Vogel died.

So if next episode....
Deb is killed by the Brain Surgeon, then that means that Matthews kills Dexter, & the Hurricane washes the body on the shore.

To be honest if done right this could be pretty decent. Still not all that great, but pretty decent.

Holy ****! You can clearly see that's a grown man in that gif. Didn't realize it watching the episode. Good lord smh

Yeah, I mean there's pretty much no way to even post something positive at this point without at least addressing all the negativity cause the vibe is kind of like you'll get laughed out of the room and not taken seriously if you're not 100% on the bashing train.

That's not me complaining about negativity, but it's just the way it is. Everyone should be able to express their opinions here.

im not 100% on the bashing train.. don't get me wrong, this season has had its moments.

I'm just so bummed out about it now. Just have the feeling the writers are trying to force stuff... like Hannah getting found out because Harrison being an idiot on a tread mill. Forcing Saxon down our throats. Even Vogel. I mean seriously Vogel didn't try to run or anything she just stood at the window??? what is that?!

anyone else just love Harrison's acting when he fell? -_-

"owwww"

Well yeah they are trying bite off a lot right now. I will say that I actually didn't mind the Harrison thing at all. It's always the little things that get you (like Walt leaving Leaves of Grass in his bathroom as another example). In this case it's Dexter's overconfidence in being able to straddle both worlds and his insistence on staying in Miami until he kills Saxon while his wanted fugitive girlfriend is holed up in his sister's house. I saw it as a Murphy's law thing and a bit of irony.

I'm not saying every choice they've made this season is defensible, but I actually thought the Harrison plot point wasn't bad. Plus, it actually gives Harrison something to do in the story for a change.

And I'm personally offended by people calling Harrison an idiot. I had a treadmill accident when I was a kid, and I was older than Harrison is. :oldrazz:

Harrison on a treadmill = Harrison eating popsicles.

I get its TV land and they have to drive up tension, etc - but Hannah taking Harrison to the doctor was just stupid. I just don't believe a fugitive would risk doing this. Surely she could have kept the pressure on the bleed with a towel or something. The alternative of being seen in public is too much.

Vogel got what she deserved. Dex told her repeatedly about Saxon, yet she ignored the facts. That is the definition of insanity.

Oh and "I even got a lollipop. Can I go play now?" :funny:

LOL so long since I've seen that.

The news anchors kill me at the end..."Oh no, oh dear!"

Edit: I do agree that it was extremely stupid of Hannah to do it, but I think some maternal instincts kicked in there and she hated the fact that her being a fugitive could be in the way of Harrison getting the treatment he deserved. I guess love makes both Dexter and Hannah sloppier, heh.

I don't get why she just didn't call Deb?

at first I thought his throat might have been cut

I'm actually rooting for Dexter and Hannah to be caught, finding their characters quite annoying lately.

There are few, few instances where [blackout]'it was all a dream/all in his head[/blackout] can be decent, and this sure as **** doesn't sound like one to me. Christ.

Yo dawg. We heard you hate haters. So we decided to get some haters to hate on you being a hater about being a hater hating on other haters.
Haha! :D

I'm not sure, but the spoiler I read a while ago could also be made up, but I would be less suprised if it's real. If that is the real ending, I got mixed feelings for it. As to why some people read spoiler, I think it's everyone's choice what they do. Period.

lol@ the way he was tossed around

Hhahaha the acting was so bad! I thought about it as well, when he kept going "owww , owww , owww". So fake & NOT convincing at all.

That really was a hell of a "coincidence" lol, the whole scene I mean. It got me wondering WTF.

As for the last episode, I'm glad things are getting more & more focused on Saxon, yeah it's late, but he has potential, it's a shame he was introduced this late because of so many characters who had a short life on the show like Zack, Yates etc. Seeing the last preview for episode 11, it's pretty obvious what happens to Deb and it might be that the spoilers were legit. I don't mind if it ends that way, but some moments in there got me thinking WTF and could be really disappointing imo. We'll just have to see.

Slick, dude. Just so you know, some of us Dexter viewers haven't been reading spoilers for the past several weeks. We're also not idiots and have the ability to understand context. So thanks.

I wouldn't mind if they got caught by Connor McM--errr, Elway. :woot:
