Long story short (warning MAJOR SPOILERS):

Spoiler

Dexter, Hannah and Harrison escape to Argentina and live happily ever after. All of the bodies of Dexter's victims are washed onto the shore by a hurricane which allows for Batista to realize that Dexter is the Bay Harbor Butcher, but too late. Deb dies at Saxon's hand. Quinn kills the Saxon as retribution, much like Dexter would and basically becomes the new Dexter

I can kind of see what they were trying to do with Quinn in retrospect now, since he is a damn train wreck of a human being...but even so, that kind of twist seems like a pretty big ass pull rather than a natural conclusion to his or anyone's story.

Wait and see I guess.

The problem with this show is that the writers never knew what they wanted to do with characters. They've all flip-flopped so many times that any actual development seems spontaneous rather than earned.

Man, I can't begin to tell you people how much I truly loved this show. I thought it was one of the best the best and original shows on tv. And now we are here, and I hope with every fiber of my being that those spoilers for the last episode aren't true. But it lloks like they are, everything so far has been right and Dex was obviously in a [BLACKOUT]hospital[/BLACKOUT] so that's looking like it all but puts the last nail in the coffin.

Not sure what to say, I keep watching because I've been invested for years but each episode is becoming taxing. At least I still have BrBa

If you've stuck with this show for nearly 8 seasons why not finish it up. I wouldn't leave the last 10 mins of movie I hated watching. Also, I personally don't feel right criticizing something unless I see the whole thing.

You need to look up the updated SHH rules. It is quite clearly stated that negative opinions are a ban-able offense. Especially if the opinion on something that has truly been a huge let down.

Just to be clear. Go back & watch the Pilot. The first kill he had was in the same room as the one he was going to have last night. You can see the 2 windows in the same position.

Once again completely ignoring one of the rules. Which is don't use the same kill room twice!

I'm with you Reek, I really do hate hating dexter. It was one of my favorites.

And who cares why people watch anymore? We're watching to troll?? Seriously? We're watching a show that for the most part we've all loved for years go right down the toilet. We're called FANS. Sometimes the audience's responses reflect the quality of the product. I think it's quite obvious most people on these boards aren't just typical fanboys spouting "OMGZZ! Harrison is so annoying! But Hannah is HOT HOT HOT!" Come on now, everything that has been discussed has been done so in a completely respectful and intelligent albeit regretful manner.
