Great ep.

Dex let Rita off the hook too easy.

I love the slick banter between Dex and Trinity over the phone. The scene where Trinity walks into the room in the police station and sees' the photos of all his kills was awesome. It was like like an artist blown away by seeing all of his art pieces on display in one place. You could see the admiration and pride of Trinitys face. Great acting by Lithgow...as always.

Next week is gonna be intense. I hope we get some closure as to why Quinn took the money..other than that, bring on Dexter Morgan vs Trinity!

I found it interesting that every time Dex called Arthur a pedophile, Arthur took offense to it and became livid...

I know all of these psychos have their limits on moral decadence but he hated being accused of child molesting. He was hot enough to fight.

The expressions on Trinitys face when he was looking at all of the murder scene photos and everything was chilling! And the look on Dexters face when he looked up and saw him! Oh man, when he walked out of the elevator with that look...and just flauntered around the office like he wasn't on edge at all. And then the sadistic look he gave once he realised that the police had been following his work...made him completely evil.

[BLACKOUT]I'm assuming "The Getaway" refers to Arthur escaping from the cop station somehow as the preview shows Dex at Arthur's house searching for him?

Or if they really want to go all out, Deb finds out about Dex who is then on the run from the cops to lead us into the next season![/BLACKOUT]

What made the episode, and season for that matter, so great was that Dexter, through out the seasons, has always been the hunter. He has usually been one step ahead of everyone, but this year Arthur turned the tables on him. Arthur's existence (the baby as well) has turned Dexter, who usually has all his bases covered, into a very careless and mistake prone person. That's what made the last scene, when Dexter saw Arthur, all the more amazing. We saw a vulnerable Dexter. He was the prey this time and I can't wait to see his reaction to that next week.

Great episode. Best one this season, by far, and I'm sure next weeks will top it. I've actually been on the edge for alot of this season, not really disliking, but I wasn't really crazy about some of the aspects. But now I'm loving it. The last few eps have really brought the season back for me, not that it was ever lost, but still. I can't wait for next week, the preview made it seem like the most epic Dexter episode of ever.

Having Dexter either on the run, or someone close to him (Rita, Quinn or Deb) discovering he's a serial killer.

Yea Arthurs face walking around the room with all the pictures of his victims was amazing, what a great scene. he didnt seem to remorseful though...youd think with all the remorse and stuff he felt and showed when doing his cycle, that this room would have horrified him...

and when dex and arthur came face to face at the end....Rocky VS Drago came to mind!

When Dexter saved him. (or at least thats what Trinity thinks) He felt like he got a second chance at life freeing him of his guilt and allowing him too kill without remorse.

Well, if it helps, at least Showtime doesn't go 2 1/2 years between seasons of their hit shows like HBO does.

Yeah I guess thats abit of a relief HOWEVER, what if whatever happens on sunday crosses over to the next season. Lets say something happens in Dexters life that has reprocussions for the next season we'll end in a cliffhanger now THAT would suck.
