Dexter

I did enjoyed the previous episodes but this episode got me hooked once again, the theme that they're exploring this season was represented well and it's a great ending may I add.
I felt the same way, the one's previous felt a little hollow for Dexter, but this last one reminded me just how well the writer's present Dexter's coming character exploration.

that girl that Quinn was @$T@Q$%@$ was so hot, like, 100x better than Deb.

Why would Quinn choose Deb?

Not everything is about looks he was actually in love with Deb has in he wanted to marry her.

after a long lay off from dexter, i think i'm enjoying the show again.

i like the new deb being boss dynamic.

I'm liking this season so far, but does anyone else think this series should've ended already? Even though I'm liking where this season is going, I just feel slightly annoyed by the continuation of Dexter. I still need to think about it more and find out what exactly is bothering me but I do wish this is the last season.

Am I the only one here?

I wish somebody had already found out about Dexter and not die, if not Deb then Quinn. I wanna see somebody who silently approves of Dexter's activities and maybe even once and a while throws him a bone

^I want Quinn to find out and basically call Dexter out for being a hardcore Batman and thinking it is awesome...

No way they can end this show before Deb finds out and that may or may not happen this season.

She should have found out in that cabin last season, utter blue balls right there...

Maybe but this makes it very plausible she'll turn a blind eye to his actions when she does find out.

Guys, Quinn would NEVER accept what Dexter does (NO cop would! With Harry it was a different story, so don't even bring him in this conversation,Dex was like a son to him)! And to think some of you want Quinn to be some sort of "mentor" for Dexter, wow! Seriously!? Can you guys imagine him doing this with Dexter? He must also have a dark passenger to accept that someone is killing people (even if they are also criminals) and let him get away with it.

Anyway, I don't understand why Dexter doesn't like Quinn and he is always pushing him away, what the heck did he do to Dex (not that I'm a huge fan of Quinn, but I think he is alright and I want him to continue in this show) ?!?

Also, Deb is pretty much a ****e, but I guess we know that by now! I wonder when she will sleep with Batista and Matthews? 2 bad Masouka is unlikely to tap DAT @$$, but for the other 2, it won't be impossible!:awesome:

Why doesn't it make sense?!?!? Nobody wants him to be Dexter's mentor! I want him to be a confidante of sorts. He already basically knows that Dexter killed Liddy, something that is driving me up the damn wall that they haven't brought back up. We have already seen that Quinn is one of those cops that doesn't see things in black and white and knows how to operate within those grey areas. He is almost an exact copy of Harry! I will seriously be disappointed with this series overall if they kill Quinn off or if he doesn't find out oh wait! I already am disappointed in this series. There are places that this show should have gone 3 years ago that it still hasn't even touched upon.

Quinn and Batista need their own show together. Getting high and solving crimes.

I think what is more likely is the series ending with Dexter dying and Quinn taking in Harrison and becoming the new Harry to Harrison's Dexter.

Also, the blonde definitely knows something about Dexter. Why ask to see evidence for all of his cases?

Finally, no coffee for Olmos. The waitress ignored him. He is definitely a dark passenger.

1) Deb is eventually going to nail the new cop.

2) I still don't think that Gellar is real. He was at some point (as Deb, Quinn and Batista pointed out) but I'm thinking he died at some point (maybe Colin Hanks killed him). The way that the waitress ignored him, even when he had her bound....she was looking ONLY at Hanks, never paying any mind to Gellar. I think we may be dealing with an unreliable narrator in this situation.

was a great episode the best this season imo

the end killing was freaking epic

I'm digging the religious themes this season. The show had gotten into a mediocre rut to me over the past few seasons, but this one is winning me back over.

Good episode Quinn and Batista lol I love there scene in the car. Im wondering though is religon something that is going to make Dexter stop killing? To me that would seem not right. But sparing victims like Brother Sam is something I dont think he would have done in a past season.

He won't stop killing. I think the show will end with either Dexter getting killed or getting caught. But we've still got plenty of seasons before that happens.

But I find myself really liking Brother Sam. I think he's made an excellent addition to the season's supporting cast, and I hope he sticks around for future seasons. Dexter doesn't really have any friends, and I see potential for Sam to stick around in that capacity.

the ending was awesome. that death trap was just great. I wanted to kick the cop that set it off in the throat, though.

Damn, I'm loving this show again. I think it's their best writing since season 1. So fun and interesting...

I'm liking how these religion themes and Father/Son relationships are tying together and having a nice effect on Dex's ways.

 I've been waiting for a sick serial killer that Dex could hunt since season 1 ended... and now my waiting has FINALLY paid off. I wish I completely skipped season 5 lmao.
