Yeah, I agree. It's something to watch for in the next few episodes.

I was kinda hoping He wasn't the tooth fairy.

I feel for Debra, with all the BS office politics. People just wanting and waiting to see you fail.

It suprised me when
Dexter and the Toothfairy were int he car and he pulled out a gun lol. But I thought that Trinity was also what Dexter could become how he kept killing and treated his family like crap. With the toothfairy we got it in one episode.

That's one thing that I loved about this episode. The lingering thought of that old fart being what Dexter may have to look forward too. It kinda does beg the question, when does Dexter stop killing?
Yup, I'm loving the various themes they're dealing with this season.

I'm going to be bold here and suggest Olmos isn't real, he's a figment of Marshall's imagination much like Harry is for Dexter. Every scene with Gellar and Marshall has Marshall doing all the work with Gellar standing back.

Not really been bold,as its been speculated all over the imdb boards and a few pages back.

I don't read the IMDB boards and I didn't see it posted here so somewhere I missed that. Anyhow that's probably what we'll learn which is a nice Sixth Sense twist only a little obvious to anyone looking for a twist. I think it would be more surprising to learn he's real and actually "instructing" Marshall.

Have we seen Harry holding/interacting with inanimate objects? So far we have seen Gellar holding a flashlight in the canoe and painting one of the four horsemen heads.

Harry was holding toys in the episode before last...

That's what killed my Gellar being real theory.

I love this show, and this season is seriously stepping it up.

The last lines and scenes of the show were particularly significant, the connecting of meaning and love to the spiritual life was very Tolstoy of the writers.

I am interested to see how Mos' very real spiritual life comes into conflict with the fanaticism of hanks.

Also, I thought it was interesting to see Quinn ****ing a girl who looked exactly like deb. I guess having sex with random women has lost meaning for him.

I loved the ending of the last episode, the BEST scene in this season so far!

Yeah that was epic :D

Looking forward to seeing how Deb will handle the press on something like this.

That he's never been acknowledged as existing by another living soul cemented it for me. I suspected it before but when the last victim was being shown and he said nothing at all to the guy who said "it's time" really gave it away.

I loved Deb putting the new detective in his place when he tried to punk her.

And now that I think about it, I'm beginning to think Olmos' character might not be real either. That would certainly be interesting. Of all the people Dexter's bonded with in each season (only to have to kill by season's end, except Lumen), this is a different situation, where one, the person Dexter seems to be bonding with is someone who seems to be on a path of good without killing (brother Sam), and Colin Hanks' character has the same fatherly guidance Dexter has with Harry. It's all making for an interesting path for Dexter, who's trying to figure how to protect his son from what he is.

And how do we feel about Masuka's intern? I don't know if trust that big-tittied blond.

I'm not trusting Masuka's intern but I'm not convinced she has any direct ulterior motives other than advancing her position.

It might be she's really an undercover reporter looking for more on the Ice Truck Killer case (maybe a tip off or some discrepancy she's discovered) or perhaps she has some connection to the Morgan brothers or a victim but I'm not seeing it yet.

I really hope they're just making it look like Olmos isn't real but either way, this season is fantastic so far. That's all I really want out of this show lmao, a disgusting serial killer that Dexter can chase while he's killing monsters on the side.

In one way it'd be kind of cool if Olmos wasn't there. However I'm kind of hoping his character is real simply because I crave an intense scene with him and Dexter. Both are superb actors and I yearn for some amazing scenes similar to those of Lithgow/Hall

Maybe we'll get a scene between Harry and Olmos. Who is the better Dark Passenger? FIGHT!

That'd actually be really interesting to see. Dexter and the Killer ina confrontation with Harry and olmos talking on the sidelines.

I don't think so. Masuka brought her that specific evidence without any provocation from her. She may just be a morbid fetishist about stuff like that. But that's not to say there isn't more to her that could potentially hurt the department.

I'm going to be really disappointed if Gellar isn't actually there. It's just too easy

I did enjoyed the previous episodes but this episode got me hooked once again, the theme that they're exploring this season was represented well and it's a great ending may I add.

Actually during the scene she said it in a way that implied her and Masuka discussed it off screen. Like she was hoping to some day see the evidence of that case specifically and when she impressed Masuka he brought it out for her to look at sooner than she'd expected. I may have read it wrong and it was coincedental she saw that box but of all the evidence for her to see, that specific box has a deeper meaning and implication in the future.
