Dexter

The hunt for Gellar heats up next week. I'm predicting Travis will be turned back to his side by the end. Wonder what caused Dexter to be drenched in that amount of blood.

Great episode. I still think Geller is real. Dexter looked out the window and saw that his car was gone, right? Or did I see that wrong?
Deb needs to find out or suspect something at the end of the season.
Next episode looks good with all the blood on Dexter.

Wasn't Dexter looking out the window just him thinking Geller escaped that way.

Maybe so? I don't know why but I felt it was showing Geller stole his car? I'm probably wrong.

Still nothing conclusive on whether he is real or not. Its looking very likely Deb is gonna find out about Dexter this season or at least suspect something. I wonder what that whole thing with La Guerta is about.

I think President Keeler, I mean Captain Matthews had a little too much fun and is using LaQuerta to cover it up. Remember how she had dirt on him earlier in the season...

So this wasn't the first time he was with a prostitute that OD?

i have a theory/opinion on what will happen when they decide to finally end Dexter. How Harry taught dex and gave him a set of rules to follow. What we have yet to find out is he did the same with deb. Telling her everything about dexter and giving her a set of rules to follow if dexter ever stopped following Harry's rules. Harry was a cop and could not leave this world without having a fail safe in place. Or i at least hope this is the direction they go in. Does anyone else have a theory on how or if dexter will meet his demise??

Well, I guess it would be an interesting twist in some ways, but I don't know, comes off as a little too convenient for me to really buy. It would also kind of make her whole relationship with Dexter a lie, since she knows about his secret through all of this. Seems like to much.

Geller ain't real remember
last week brian stabbed the motel guy with the pitchfork than it panned to Dexter doing it. This showed the ghost can "kill" while the guy he's talking to does nothing

I really want gellar to be real, but I won't be surprised if he's not.

There has been sooooo much pointing to it.

Only thing i'd be stuck on them explaining is why the girl said there were two men. But then, did she ever say she felt two men holding her? or that two men where in the room?

Or did she just say that two men visited her one at a time..?

I can't rememeber.

While you may be right and Gellar may be Tyler Durden to Travis's Ed Norton it's still hardly conclusive at this point,

I'm frustrated..... because of this thread..........

[blackout]I KNOW GELLAR ISN'T REAL :([/BLACKOUT]

Now everytime I see him in all of his scenes, it's there, the clues are there people................

Sometimes you guys just blast out your theories and it turns out to be possibily the biggest shocker of this season...... and I won't be shocked :cmad:

I dunno, after watching today's new episode I am even more convinced that Geller is NOT a real person and is all in Travis' head.

When Travis looked up at the balcony and Dexter went up and the guy was nowhere in sight, I don't think he was even there. Especially when Dex almost fell through the floor up there. Geller would have fallen as well. Just sayin'...
it's crazy how you put spoiler tags on a scene from the show, but you don't put spoiler tags on the biggest spoiler in your post

the fact that the clues are there is what is disappointing. its been so obvious at times and so confusing at other times... it really makes the eventual 'twist' ......stupid. boring.... 'oh hey really?' its like if we found out Rudy is really brian dex's bro in the pilot. i really hope this plot has a better twist than he is real or he is fake. its gotten ridiculous at this point.

seriously...its like whoaaa John Lithgow is trinity in the 1st eppy of season 4. there has to be something more to this that people arent thinking of, otherwise, this is kinda sad.:word:

also.... there is someone else... just not gellar. i think there is someone else. travis cant just chain himself and expect someone comes to help him. unless he is that on to dexter...doubtful.

i think they dont know how they want to do with geller. i think they are playing is so that they want people to think hes not real, so turn on you and go.....oh hes been real.

prob just waiting till the very end to spring it on us.

springing on a stupid conclusion... eh

springing on a stupid conclusion... eh

i sure hope they dont. I rather is be a good one. I mean last season was filled with stupid things, mostly the cops being complete morons. I just hope this season doesnt end with...."well, someone is dead, case solved!"

Where did this theory of him not being real even come from?
He has always been around. Unless he died after teaching at FSU and then some how started haunting Travis? Deb said people have called in and said they have seen him. He knocked out Travis and chained him up. He killed his sister. I just don't buy that he isn't real.

You're in complete denial if you believe that Geller is real. It's obvious the writers are pulling a Tyler Durden with Travis.

Only way I think he could be real is that its too obvious he's not real, that its purposeful. I mean if its finally revealed he's in Travis' head its not gonna be a twist since it was so blatant.

He did not knock himself out.. it was just a way for Geller to "take over" and do what was to be done to his sister since his one personality would not do it. As for people calling in that have seen him, people do that all the time who think they see someone, does not mean they actually saw them. There is no Haunting. Travis is just mentally unhinged

Why does there have to be a twist.?
In fact a lot of people out there have not even caught onto the " not real" idea. I had to point it out to a few people.

I disagree. I think the fact that people are still uncertain about how real or not he actually is shows that they've been pretty effective with it. Not sure what's 'stupid' or 'boring' about it, I think it's been a very interesting element of the new season.

Yeah, exactly. People seem to be expecting some M. Night-esque twist, but that may not be what they're going for. I'm reminded of the twist of season one about Brian being the ITK. Did anyone doubt for a minute that this random new character that showed up and weaseled his way into Dexter's life was actually going to be the ITK? They may not be going for some grand mystery that some people assume they are

Where did this theory of him not being real even come from?

People have been speculating about it from the beginning of the season. It's mainly the way he's been used throughout the season, mainly his lack of interaction with other characters outside Travis, and odd little stuff like being wanted and having his face plastered everywhere, but still walking away in a crowded club. He may end up being not real, but it's not hard at all to see how people have picked up on that.
