I think what is more likely is the series ending with Dexter dying and Quinn taking in Harrison and becoming the new Harry to Harrison's Dexter.

...The Quinn that Dexter hates? You're joking, right?

Well, in a way it could make sense lol. Quinn is not the most by the book cop.

Anyways many many things would have to happen.
Like Deb taking a dirt nap
Harrison's Grand Parents not caring who raises their grandson.
Batista would probably want to step up to raise the Kid.

The last episode has me wondering if Dexter will give up killing for a while only to have someone close to him die ( masuka, Deb ect ect) and then feels guilty about not doing anything when he had the chance.

I liked that they mentioned Astor and Cody in the latest episode!

1) Deb is eventually going to nail the new cop.

2) I still don't think that Gellar is real. He was at some point (as Deb, Quinn and Batista pointed out) but I'm thinking he died at some point (maybe Colin Hanks killed him). The way that the waitress ignored him, even when he had her bound....she was looking ONLY at Hanks, never paying any mind to Gellar. I think we may be dealing with an unreliable narrator in this situation.

I'm still not convinced either way. Yes, the waitress ignored Gellar at the coffee shop but after he bound her, she cringed when he touched her hair and face. Before that scene, I was pretty sure he was just a Dark Passenger but now I'm not so sure anymore. It will be fun to see how they reveal him to be real or imaginary, though.

I think Superfreak's original theory of Gellar being a passenger holds water until we see someone else interact with him 100%. The thing with stroking the girl's hair is still too nebulous.

I definitely think by now it is intended to keep us guessing if EJO is a force ghost or not.

I'd say he's real, but the Dexter writers are just messing with us for sadistic fun.

That's what I'm thinking. I have a suspicion that he'll stay in the background for much of the season until he jumps out and stabs someone. lol

I'll be glad either way. There wasn't any real twist last season....

Really enjoying 'Brother Sam'. The scene where he explains his father to Dexter is fantastic.

I like the character, and I'm almost sad to see him meet his inevitable fate (that befalls most new, supporting characters on this show).

I love that they're both 'born in blood', but Brother Sam has found a way to give his up. Definitely an idea that Dexter has been searching for. This season has really impressed me with the past couple episodes. Really reminds me of the first season in a lot of ways.

lol indeed! At least I'm hoping he's real, would be better with 2 killers, especially since he is the brain and not just Travis' imagination.

I thought the last episode was really good, but something was odd to me.

Hanks' character seems to be mildly conflicted about what he is doing. And he seemed even more so when the waitress was taken. Then when we see him next, he seems to be admiring the 'tabeau' of her death. Just didn't feel right, kind of inconsistent. Otherwise a really great episode.

MD hasn't let me down ever I think. Every role he's taken has been great, and he's probably made it better by taking it. Can't wait to see him in a real break through role.

why is everybody dissing on Season 5. I liked SEason 5 and Lumen.

^I liked it too, it just didn't end on a high note, In fact it was the worse finale in the shows history. It was like having sex, but not climaxing..for me anyway.

Finally sat down and got caught up today.

I'm liking this season so far. Feels like we've gotten back to the basics of season 1. Crazy interesting bad guy, while Dex is out there taking out the lesser bad guys and toying around with growing beyond his Dark Passenger.

Why would you ever stop, lol? :p

The ending shocked me overal good episode there really toying with wether or not Geller is real I think we might find out next episode.

i do too. at first i thought Gellar was sort of like what Harry is to Dexter, but tonite's episode made me think otherwise. i hope Sam doesn't bite the dust because i like his character a lot.

I liked this episode, did not like how it all went down with Dexter and Travis, I thought that was awful writing but oh well. Gellar is definitely real, if he was fake they would have done a better job concealing it.

I thought after lasts night episode, its even more clear that Gellar isn't real. Travis' leg went down on the throttle because Gellar just happened to put his hands on his leg? Travis is the one who put the body in the trunk? Come on, he isn't real.....
