Yep looks like they are getting plenty of screen time together

It is kind of weird to think how distant they had Laurel from the rest of the cast in S1/2.

That's why there is Sara/Nyssa. Those two don't need to share everything.

Agreed.

I still find it kind of creepy that they even started the show with the premise that Oliver has been intimately involved with both of them.

I'd rather Laurel get involved with someone that has nothing to do with her sister just for that reason alone.

The only problem is that I don't recall Black Canary having that many love interests in the comics besides Oliver.

I think that she once had thing with Barry but I don't see them going down that route.

Course I kind of wish that instead of Barry having had a thing with Felicity back in Season 2, that it would have been Laurel instead as a nod to their comic book counterparts but Laurel was in no condition at that point to be involved with anyone.

She did date Ra's....for a hot second lol. Kiss Batman. But nothing as long term as Oliver.

Well, I guess they could always create their own canon with Laurel developing a romance with someone (whether it be an original or DC character) that she never had history with in the comics.

If Ray wasn't already used as Felicity's booty call/Olicity Block in Season 3, I'd recommend him as a potential. Plus it'd be somewhat humorous due to the fact that Ray Palmer does marry a woman in the comics that was a lawyer as well.

Other characters that I'd recommend that haven't shown up in this universe yet, would be:

1. The Question

2. Blue Beetle (if they ever end up getting the chance to use him)

They should just recast Ted Grant since I don't see the actor coming back anytime soon.

Hmmm you know I'm kinda ready for Richard the dragon to show up since he was her final and best teacher in mixed martial arts and was a good looking guy.

And Richard may be the one to get her to used more of her body as a weapon and shape her that way be more confident in that skill then to use the knight stick. I rather see her be able to pick any martial arts weapon in an environment that she's at and be skilled with them or hold her own in simple hand had against best she face's even if they have weapons and she doesn't .

a simply way to fix this is just cast an older Ted Grant and say he is Ted Grand father and also a former fighter many years ago. It would follow the comic book more closely

I think it possible that Richard Dragon trained Oliver in one of his two year away before he returned. It could be possible to have Richard Dragon trains Oliver in the past and trains Laurel in the present to parallel past and present. That would be a good idea I think. Oliver could recommend Laurel to train with him to get even better.

When I first saw the outcome of the Brick episode, my interpretation was that he died. Since he hasn't been seen or mentioned since, and since Laurel got a new teacher, I'm sticking with dead.

As for Laurel, they can give her a new romantic interest eventually, but any given relationship is rolling the dice on whether it'll be a good one or a bad one. Since I liked Laurel with Tommy (although I don't know how good a fit he would be for Laurel 2.0) and I liked what looked like Laurel with Nyssa, the risk that #3 will compare unfavorably to them is significant. My perspective is more to go with what works when it works.

Actually that would be cool how ever the time to have met him would have ether been in the Hong Kong or some other part of Asia or japan ark. when Oliver gets away from Waller and her insane influence (Oliver did say he wanted to kill her, which seems to be the case of any one that not in a high position in Argus or task force X that over see the suicide squad and wants to do to their boss's most especially Waller)

cause Richard the dragon is a decent and stand up dude. Oliver is basically on his way to Russia soon too. so the ship will sail there.

How ever Richard would want nothing to do with with her(waller) and the other issue is if Oliver knew such a person who's so fantastic a fighter and make people better fighter why'd he take so freaking long to mention him especially since he's a descent guy would giver her guidance better then he's ever gotten?

my plan was make Richard to the same age zone as them and he's a great master fighter. and he's opening Dojo in the city and run's with in a community center with other's teaching basket ball soccer archery and other sports.

I guess the thing only Oliver can learn is how to do public speaking and how to have the community of starling like him as Oliver queen which will give oliver a way to help the city as him self. which will be a good set up for his mayor job if they ever head down there or allow him to do so.

the point of Richard here for Laural to have learned some stuff as a martial artist that Oliver doesn't have as skill set since he's more bow and arrow mast and a fighter second. it help the show in a good way to have team's with varied skill set too. that set them apart from him and help him out in that way cause they have those skill set's .

and fit the bill of some new as a love interest that none of the other women have went after or touched or would want to steal from her cause they ether content with what they have or have other stuff to deal with.

I'm going to hold out hope that the series ends with Oliver proposing to Laurel.

Given that Oliver is about to propose to felicity in the freaking premiere of season 4 I sadly don't see that happening...

MG has confirmed that he didn't die.

It'd be nice if they could confirm that in the ACTUAL SHOW!! Because after the Brick arc, he hasn't even been mentioned.

That was Season 3 though, they played fast and loose with just about everything. We didn't even get to see Olivers initial reaction to Laurel becoming Black Canary. Hell we didn't even get to see Laurel deciding to name herself Black Canary.

True. I posted that before that promo was released. Still, I guess something could happen (Felicity dies–I hope not, though...–or has to leave, or something) that forces them apart. I guess we'll see. It does seem like they're committed to Oliver and Felicity, however.

If Titans falls through on TNT, they really need to pursue DC to allow them bring in Barbara Gordon for an episode or two.
