GG wasn't very sympathetic . . . although I felt a little sorry for Norman when he first realized what he was . . .

Norman had a sympathetic angle. He really just became a product of those performance enhancers. And even then he still retained his father like qualities. He supported Harry and told him he was proud of him.

He was very kind to Peter, offering him support and anything he needs during his difficult time [Ben's death]. He told him he was like a brother to Harry, and that makes him family. He offered to help Peter find a job when he got fired from his other one etc.

He even struggled with his conscience when he realized what he'd done as the Goblin, and with some of the horrible things his Goblin persona was suggesting they do.

I agree about his stories, but they wouldn't have to follow it up . . . they could just leave it so that we know Norman is out there somewhere.

well I'm sure that there are some ways to show that norman is still out there but nothing way too far fetched.

I think that, at the end of SPM3, Venom is going to kill Sandman and Harry is going to regain his senses for one moment, and kill himself rather than murder his former best friend. I know it sounds stupid but that's probably what's going to happen.

water, cement, etc. sandman isn't going to die though, his daughter is going to tell him to stop beating up spidey. it said it in the filmick report and the script summary.

sandman is a sympathetic villian and has a family that is poor and has an ailing daughter so it makes sense if you think about it.
