I want everyone in the MCU
Eh. Another reason to be negative about this merger?
By "it" do you mean scripts, movies and BO returns?
you don't have to like the merger, but tough because it happened...soooooooooooo....get over it?
Nah, I want New Mutants with the X-men. There's potential overlap there. Im fine with Deadpool being seperate bc he's not really an X-man and Im not a fan of him being lumped in with them, especially in recent years
I dont think people are missing that. Those that are against this dont want an MCU X-men. Fox being acquired by the other studios means the likely hood of the Xmen universe continuing is high whereas now its almost certainly overThe thing people are missing is, FOX was selling these assets ANYWAY. It was either Disney or Comcast (aka the guys who own Unversal). So no matter what, one of the other big 6 was gaining this power.
Continuity? That'll be an X-Men first![]()
Continuity is good, but this better not kill individual X-Men stories.

Yes! Movies aren't just comic book fodder. Fox Searchlight puts out some really fantastic films and if we lost those sorts of movies in this merger it will be a genuine tragedy. Pop your head out of the Marvel bubble for half a second.
I think people are making incorporating X-Men much harder than it has to be. Occam's Razor, guys. Mutants have existed the whole time, it just wasn't something the public new until now. Much easier.
I was thinking of how to introduce existing characters. The X-Men will of course all be recast, but I hope they'll keep Reynolds as Deadpool around. But how would you introduce him into the MCU, without retconning his two Movies? Well, it IS Deadpool, so I guess you could always throw in a 4th wall joke, how his background has been changed around.

When did you become such a Disney fan? There's literally dozens of reasons to question this if you're at all interested in the film industry and everything that surrounds it. Disney is sketchy as hell, and they just got a lot more powerful.

Spider-man was introduced to be fully immersed in the universe. The natural way to do this would be to have Storm in Black Panther 2. Then put Scarlet Witch in the first X Men of the MCU. Any other ideas?
Deadpool has a loose relationship with continuity, LOL! Plus, Bob now could have been in Hydra, Deadpool can fight Taskmaster in a sequel, and even in Deadpool one, he fought Ajax on what looked a lot like a helicarrier. I see this working no problem![]()
EXACTLY!!!
And who knows what the hell Universal would do with X-Men

We are about to see major changes to the movie landscape here in a few years. Almost makes one wonder if movie theaters will go the way of drive-ins.
Just thinking back to 2008, when it all started with Iron Man. Who would have though, that <10 years later the groundwork would be laid for the Marvel Universe to be whole in the MCU.
Just wow.![]()
