Can you just imagine...if they do a Deadpool visits Disneyland video like they did with Vader?
Great marketing for Deadpool 3.

So I read somewhere that Disney has no plans to make Deadpool etc pg13. Is this true?
Honestly I don't see why they'd try to change anything that makes money.
Iger: It was a long shot
More on the R-Rated films potential.
They might have to make some concessions, but ultimately they should be able to clear. So do you guys think the deal will clear the regulatory review? Disney doesn't have the same problems AT&T as

They talked informally back in August about issues with the Industry. Iger called Murdoch a few weeks later, and broached the idea. In his own words: "It was a long shot, but Murdoch was open to it".Can anyone transcribe it a bit? I cannot watch at moment![]()
I think people are making incorporating X-Men much harder than it has to be. Occam's Razor, guys. Mutants have existed the whole time, it just wasn't something the public new until now. Much easier.
Wolverine really does not need a costume. Jackman proved that.
Are you joking? Disney will control; Fox, Marvel, Pixar, Lucas Arts and Pixar.
If that isn't a monopoly then what is?
All evidence points to "Yes". How will not be determined for quite a while.Okay... Somebody clear this up... Are the Mutants getting integrated into the MCU proper or not?
The black leather era will end with Jackman; they have no incentive to continue this trend if they do cast another actor to play Wolverine. And dont you think Disney has the right to make their own decisions after shelling out 58 billion for all the rights?
how about fact that monopoly means 1 company in entire industry, and there is still Universal, Warner Bros, Sony, Paramount, Netflix, Amazon in the growing marketplace?
All of Hulu, all of Fox and all of Disney under one streaming roof. What if they charge $40 dollars (for example) for a subscription? What would stop them?
Not QUITE true. Monopoly is when a company has a percentage of the industry so great it cannot foster competition. That doesn't mean there are no other players, just that their market % is so much greater than that of everyone else. That said, I don't think the film industry is at that point.
Okay... Somebody clear this up... Are the Mutants getting integrated into the MCU proper or not? Now I am hearing they are being kept separate from some Hypesters. Is this true or not? I thought that the Fox Mutant films were done after this final batch coming out and then after that the Mutants move to the MCU with an all new cast being rebooted as MCU characters. Is this not the case?
Yes, they absolutely will be rebooted in the MCU. What you're seeing is fans of the current franchise in denial about what is going to happen post-Dark Phoenix.Okay... Somebody clear this up... Just self-denial from some Fox fans. The X-Men are far more valuable financially if they are in the MCU, period. Money talks. Marvel will make them fit, even if they have to use hacksaws and a ton of duct tape to do it.
This still bothers me, both on a business and competition side. I know fans are happy that X-Men and Fantastic Four will return to Marvel Studios due to Disney's Fox acquisition -- but Disney will hog even more box office real estate (four Avatar sequels for instance). Plus, Fox has made riskier movies that the Mouse House never does.
It pains me to see 20th Century Fox, Fox 2000 and Fox Searchlight swallowed up and/or becoming studio labels for the Mouse House. It's one thing for mini-label studios to merge (like Lionsgate buying Summit), but it's completely another when one of the Big Six buys the competition.
