Still the best Disney Princess movie in my book, and one of the best overall (although I prefer Bambi and Fantasia).

Eh, it's ok. I definitely respect it's pioneering technical achievements, and it did help to launch Disney into what it eventually became, and so on. But as a film, it suffers from many of the same problems that I have with lots of "Early Disney."

Just another excuse to re-release everything. Not that I'm complaining since it gives people a chance to purchase a copy they missed earlier.

anyone else out there a Disney completist? i can't be the only one on this site lol. i've got just about most of the Disney releases on Blu Ray and i hate that my copies of Atlantis, Enchanted and Fantasia do not have slipcovers. i've looked all over for them and they're about the only disney titles i have that do not have them

Yeah, I actually came across a site that sells the slip covers but prices vary. Also you can email Disney and they'll tell you the address to send the money to in order to get them. I'm missing the ones for the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Wall-E.

As far as being a completist I'm far from it as I just try to collect all the major releases. I initially passed on Snow White but I do need to get it since it was "the one that started it all".

ive seen some on the movie club site, but in DVD format.

fwiw, there are some amazing import editions of some Disney/Marvel/Pixar films.
i recently got the blufans version of Big Hero 6 and it's beautiful

I will only be buying Snow White and Pinocchio on Signature Collection sine I already have all the others on Diamond. Though with all the movies I buy I really should start taking advantage of the digital downloads.

Just a random post, but figured this was the section to do it. Thinking about it recently I'd say The Lion King and Aladdin are my top favorite Disney films. Definitely in my top 5.

Yay Aladdin! I happen to still love the return of jafar. Best animated sequel from Disney IMO

One on hand, that would be great. On the other, it would make Laganja Estranja Hercules by default, and that would be terrible, so I just don't know.

It's an intriguing concept. There's a HIV positive character on the South African version of Sesame Street and it would do so much to challenge stigma
