Did your girlfriend get to meet and hang out with your best friend? That usually helps if there is any jealousy involved. When Spoons and I first started dating I struggled with the fact that he has so many female friends (and just as many males, I came to realize...he's just a popular boy ), and then I started to get to meet and hang out with some of them, and we became friends too.

Yeah, we would all hang out together. I even made sure my friends didn't monopolize time with me. They would be like "Yeah, we're going over to Pawn Shop, lets go!" and I would be like "Nah guys, I'm with my girl." Then some crazy **** went down over there and I had to hear about it for a week.

I remember back in 4th grade there was this dude that I basically used to verbally spar with all the time, we were somewhat rivals. Yet we ended up being pretty close friends, even if he did tell me I looked like Count Duckula. Back when Duckula was popular.
