World Doc Ock's Lair v2

With the BND retcon, any number of changes could have taken place. Kaine may never have killed Ock in the first place and Ben Reilly may never have died.
Only thing is that this mini-series is out of continuity. And as one of the creators said, the purpose is to tell the story how it was originally told while removing elements that were unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Doc Ock's death and Carolyn Trainer might be one of these "unnecessary elements", so may well be Doc Ock fighting them.

That's what I'm thinking. If the new Clone Saga is a mini, taking time to do Ock's death and explain Carolyn Trainer may be too much. Of course... Carolyn Trainer does still exist (she was in Secret War, after all), but I suppose she could be explained another way.

Would be really nice if we saw Stunner also, but I'm not going to hold my breath. :(

MP brings back the fuzzy white robe :hehe:

Something on dA, a response to the news of Disney buying Marvel:

Wow, the Doc really is a quack :o :oldrazz:

That's great! I'd love to see Octavius battle the Scarlet Spider. Be interesting to see what Ock's motivations are in this, too.

I really liked the added layer they gave to the Spidey/Ock relationship in the original Clone Saga. I hope that is still in there somewhere.

I'm just happy that not only did Ock make his return in ASM, but not, we are going to get him in this upcoming Clone Saga mini-series. Just awesome.

New fanart, omg!

Because the Master Planner knows what fangirls want. :cwink:
LOL love the martini~
and indeed you do, planner. Indeed you do. *saves*

Okay, here's my thoughts on what might happen now that Disney's bought out Marvel Comics:

Now, every so often, someone asks me why I don't draw my own fancomics, instead opting to pay (or convince) others to draw them for me. The below-displayed images are why. I'm not usually so self-deprecating about my artwork--usually quite the opposite--but seeing this should convince you of why I stick to writing.

After I was done with these, my hand was spasming all night. And to think that career comic book pencilers are expected to churn out at least 30 such pages a month (faints)...

Nice comics :wow: I can't wait to see more, but make sure your hand feels better first

MP, I love his (red) laugh at the end!

Why was the video inappropriate? Because of the bad words? I got the song off YT so couldn't really take out the words. Sorry about that. Am I allowed to just SAY I made a new Ock video that can be found on my "OckGal" YouTube channel?

Yup, thats cool. I would have given a better explanation but the Hype was lagging. :o

MP, love the drawing of Ock's origin

A question for you guys: What are your top five Doc Ock stories? Mine are:

2. The Master Planner arc
3. Return of the Sinister Six
4. Web of Death
5. Spider-Man Unlimited #3

1. Web of Death
2. Countdown
3. Negative Exposure
4. Hollywood
5. ASM 600

Good question.

1. Negative Exposure
2. The Master Planner arc
3. Year One
4. Web of Death
5. Spider-Man Unlimited #3

:otto:

How can you even class that as a Doc Ock story?

In all honesty, I cant. Its just one of the few stories that Otto at least made an appearance in that I really liked. :o

Actually, cancel that. Replace Marvel Knights with ASM 600.

My Doc Ock Top Five:
1. Revenge of the Sinister Six: Yeah, it's overblown and bloated with too many heroes at the end, but it starts out awesome and was entertaining throughout. Ock with adamantium tentacles unleashed! Larsen went out of his way to upgrade Otto into a 'Doctor Doom level threat' long before the lame ASM #600. And, as an added bonus, Wolverine isn't among the guest stars.

2. Web of Death. It would've been even better had Ock not died at the end and Marvel allowed new writers to build on the new emotional layer to the Spider Man/Doc Ock feud.

3. The Owl/Octopus War: This arc really showed just how vicious and nasty Ock can be. You know a guy is badass when he can scare the Kingpin enough to make him leave New York. And I love the fact that Ock was fully prepared to nuke NYC just to prove how dangerous he is.

4. Negative Exposure: This one shows how manipulative and cunning Ock can be, but I'm really tired of the 'knock-Ock-out-with-a-punch-to-the-jaw' routine.

5. Amazing Spider Man Annual #15: Doctor Octopus humiliates the Punisher, nuff said.

That's very cool. I love the detail on it.

Really awesome piece of art, I like how the claws have 5 pincers, interesting
