I think I'll again be holding off on getting excited until I see the actual issue. Though, after seeing what they've been doing in the recent Lizard arc, I'm more jaded and pessimistic than hopeful.

Ah, well, just felt very discouraged on the Ock front lately; ever since ASM 600. :|

Did notice a Volume One of the Clone Saga (the original) in a bookstore the other day, by the way. Full color, very nice. I hope they issue the whole thing. Be nice to have it in print in all its awkward glory.

In textbooks, mostly. But summer time is here. Finally have some more time on my hands, so I thought I'd drop by to see how the lair is doing. Glad to see it's still alive and well with new and old faces!

Well you and Haz came back just in time. Take a look at the big promotional artwork for the upcoming 'Origin of the species' arc. This is a huuuuuuuuge awesome pic. Scroll over to the right and have a look at our Otto:

His face and his arms (his flesh ones) are all looking back to normal. Plus he's back to the status quo of four tentacles. Looks like he cures himself after all. I knew it. I wonder does the poor Osborn baby die?

I've been avoiding Marvel like Ebola since the OMD/BND fiasco. I picked up 600 for no other reason than Ock was in it. I may just have to check this out, seeing as Otto will be getting healthy again.

No idea who that guy is. There's a couple of characters I don't recognize.

I'm digging his green hoody robe look. It kind of gives him an evil Emperor from Star Wars vibe.

I don't know who the freaky guy is, but the one above Molten Man is Freak.

The guy next to Electro and Hammerhead is Deity, he was in the one earlier Wells/Bachalo arc.

As for the upcoming stories, I'm looking forward to the Marvel Adventures story (I always had a weakness for the combination of classic story, modern update, and good clean fun of the Marvel Age stories) but am reserving my judgment on Origin of Species until it comes out...

Marvel have been so good with Spidey these last few years

I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on this, m'friend.

I've tried. I really have. I want to like Spider-Man. I want to get all these issues of ASM and enjoy them. I even bought a subscription, once.

Since One More Day, at best I read ASM and think that, well, that was good, but I don't see why they had to get rid of Mary Jane to tell this story. (And that was the whole thing about BND, that being married limited Spidey.) The stories that could not have been told with a married Peter Parker... I thought those stories sucked.

The most recent thing with the Lizard? Hated it. /Despised/ it, in fact.

What they did with Doc Ock in #600? Unimpressed and underwhelmed.

Combine this with my feelings of weariness with the OMG GIANT WORLD-CHANGING STORY ARC that's been one after another without pause since Civil War. Which itself started out with a lot of promise and ended with a 'meh'.

I guess I'm just in a holding pattern right now. Waiting for something to come along that restores my comic-book faith. So far, it hasn't happened yet. :/

You need to adjust your sarcasm meter, my dear Haz I think Marvel have been dishing out TERRIBLE Spidey stories in the last few years. Ever since '04, when Sins Past hit the shelves, it set Spidey on a downward spiral that he's never recovered from since.

Thanks for the video, Bop.So it is a game for the PS3 by the looks of it. If it's good, I'll pick it up. It looks something like the Lego games. I got Batman Lego, which was great fun.
