I always thought the jumpsuit looked goofy
I liked the armani white suit and the trench coat. Made him feel...epic.
True, but the quality of the stories in which he wore the jumpsuit made up for it. Villains typically look goofy, which is why Hollywood has such a hard time figuring out how to translate their costumes to the big screen.
This is why I'm really into the idea of making period pieces out of Marvel movies. In other words, setting them in 60s.If they kept the dialogue like it was in those Lee classics, then the outfits wouldn't seem so out-of-place. Because then, everything would be over-the-top and fun instead of grim, gritty and 'realistic'.
It's one of the reasons why I love Batman: Brave and the Bold.
