Nobody could resist him.I remember when the teaser poster was released at the comic con in 2003.People went CRAZY with excitement.After GG's disappointing costume there was some worry over how Ock would look.

That poster not only dispelled any worries we had,but made us MAJOR hyped for the movie.

One can only wonder what'll happen this time out.

I have a feeling no matter what they put on Gg2, it's going to be doomed. it's going to be "skateboarder!" or "power ranger2!" or pick your epithet. The same sickening mess all over again... then we have these [epithet deleted]s who want Topher as Venom, but are now caterwauling about the symbiote being "purple." If Topher is Venom, who the f*** cares what color he'll be, after such a mighty insult? That is the least of anyone's worries! they could put a big round handle on top of his head like a Teletubby's, for all of me. Venom Lite: just what we need.

I miss Ock and GG1 already, dammit. At least they were real MEN. These prancing prettyboys like Gopher and Franco... pah-lease.... they don't exactly measure up, or even anywhere close.

I remember him saying in an interview,when he came out the back stage of 'Fiddler on the roof' there was crowds of people waiting for him.

He said one half was for Fiddler and the other half,the bigger half,was the Spider-Man fans.He said he felt very flattered he was getting all this attention from the younger generation.

He also said when he dies,if he's just remembered as Doc Ock,then he'll die a happy man.Because it's good to be remembered by your fans,no matter what role it is.You have left some kind of good impression on people.

One can only wonder what'll happen this time out.

I know we really know nothing......officially,but we read Wizard,we read the teasing interviews with Arad and his Black Crappy hints,and of course Dunst and her big mouth.

Sym if Gopher is Venom,or if Crappy makes it into the movie,are you even going to care what they do with the costumes,or even go see the movie??

Arad said they're cramming alot into this one.He said and I quote "It's a big mother this one".

Yeah Gopher and Franco really do pale in comparison to Molina and Dafoe.At least they command the screen when they're on.

Every time I look at Franco I think of when he was knocked out by a chunk of debris when GG attacked the unity festival,or how he was dangled over the balcony by Ock and later shoved aside when he opened the safe to get the tritium

And don't even get me started on Gopher.........

Probably no on both counts. I dunno, I feel a sense of overwhelming depression every time I think about 3. With 2, I was all hyped and couldn't wait.

Franco so got owned by Ock; what a beautiful moment that was. A harbinger of things to come, I fear.... because let's face it, a lot of the time Harry is a pretty ineffective guy, until Spectacular 200.

You know what I think of when I see Franco? All I hear is him whining and *****ing and moaning and thinking about every teenage daytime drama that's ever existed. And I weep for the franchise.

Ladies and gentlemen, there will be no fastening of the seatbelts for this trip. Because no one is going to care if all they're getting is a watered down version of Venom (I like Sym's "Venom-lite" description) and a sniveling Lesser GG.

The word nuclear makes me want to reread the Year one arc again. Heck, i may just do that.

Year one was great.The only thing I didn't like was Octavius being involved in setting up the radiation experiment that Peter gets his powers from.Ock never had anything to do with that.

Other than that I really enjoyed it.Very psychological and deep it was for Octavius.
