Nah it won't. Ratings have always been consistently high from McGann's special to now.

I personally think that Capaldi would do a great performance!

When they have Capaldi do his first episode everyone is going to tune in just to see what he's like. Everyone has their own Doctor to play and each time it's very different. I kinda hope he's snarky like my favorites #4 and 9.

Also, is everyone going to keep using the standard numbering system just to keep it less confusing? 1-8, WD then 9-12? I hope so otherwise it's going to be a ***** to figure out how to talk about them.

Supposedly, Capaldi is basing his performance off *HIS* Doctors Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker so that's going to be fun to see.

Well it should be interesting then as they both had a very dry wit about them. I wonder if he'll be trying the old Venusian Akido.

We could also call them by their actor's names.

That's fine for ones named Baker or Tennant but spelling Throughton or Eccleston is going to be a mite tougher.

i cant wait for Capaldi myself, Smith was influenced by Tennant and Sylvester, :Tennant was influenced by Davidson, and Capaldi will be influenced by Pertwee and Baker. a nice variety there!
