The Dark Knight Does anyone have any concerns about the movie....

My only concern is Heath's ability to laugh.

From what I have heard it seems like a long, 'high pitched' exhale, then some laughter, like a really forced laugh.

But that's not enough to make it seem any less awesome.

Just how the new Bat suit will look on screen. Wasn't wild about what I saw of it in the trailer.

don't really have any concerns personally. my main concern is the amount of mainstream fans itll pull in. that's gonna suck with all these kids wearin joker shirts. but other than that, no concerns :hoboj:

My only concern is that the Joker will end up not being permawhite which will damage the likeability of him greatly.

It doesn't have to be an acid bath, but he needs to be permanantly disformed. If its just his face white - fine. He can not, however, just be some guy wearing make up. If he does, Nolan has missed the mark.

He may not be permawhite, but he's scarred with that smile. I don't know if that makes a difference, but he's not just clown makeup; the smile is really there, you know?

Yea in your small little group of Crispin's dads lovers or what ever you call your selves. You guys put the perma white thing up on a pedastal.

When we have quotes from some of the greatest creators in the Batman universe like Loeb, praising it.

You want permawhite Joker? You all ready have a movie out, called Batman done by Burton. You can go watch that.

I'm tired of this perma white debate. It does not make the Joker who he is by it self. You want permawhite go watch Powder there is your Joker lol.

As for me not too much worry. I have some small issues, but not enough to gripe about.

My main concern is if Armageddon arrives before the movie is out. I'll be so pissed off.

It doesn't.

The scarred smile is meant to substitute for his freakishly large smile in the comics.

I just hope The Joker ends up being a little more suave than what we have seen of him. Some aspects of his 'grunge' look remind me of the Joker from 'The Batman' show.

Well after my expectations for spider-man 3 were shot down like a rabid dog, ive promised myself to nto get too excited about the movie, but signs are looking positive for this one.

but i AM worried that
-the movie won't have an interesting enough story about bruce wayne to tell, and that all the focus will be on the joker
-the movie will be heartless and pitch dark start to finish (I get that it needs to be dark, and i like that, but it can be too dark.)
-the dialogue will be awful.

The Smile is something that could be repared easily. Its not a life altering change. Especially since it was confirmed that at least half the smile was of the Jokers doing.

I need the true physical transformation. I need to see that you cant just wipe off the 'War Paint' and Heath Ledger stares back. If that is the case, again, Nolan has missed the mark.

Hey, it's not 2012 yet mate ;)
But seriously. Doubts? One. That this movie will be a critical disaster. I want a general consensus that this is a great film. And if you are going to dislike it over some make-up then you are, sorry, petty and very small minded.
Every myth differs with the telling. Do you see what I mean? There can be no definitive version of a character who holds a place in so many minds.

oy, some people cant just accept change....i think the joker is scarier with make up because it makes me feel joker is just that much closer to being real.:brucebat:

Two concerns;
1. The batsuit still.. sorry still not sold on it.
2.Dialogue!!!!!! I trust nolan and his brother but if you have seen the prologue the writing seems really strained. " I believe what doesn't kill you makes you....stranger." come on that's pretty lame. The interactions between the other masked robbers is terrible. Sorry it's TERRIBLE!!! Fitchner is swet until he gets shot and goes on with the"what do you belive in?" crap. I just feel that every director who makes a good first film then does a second gets too much freedom. I felt that goyer and nolan kind of kept each other in check and by having that check and balance neither got too out of control now since goyer has taken a smaller role I'm afraid the nolans don't have that check. I'm not saying this wont be an amazing movie the trailer rocked but th prologue left alot to be desired.

Rachel Dawes is my 1 concern. I hope she doesn't die. If she does die I want it to be in the 3rd.

I also don't like how Dawes is banging whoever the D.A is. Let alone banging the new D.A. after her last D.A. boyfriend was killed and showed no emotion.

Did I mention she's banging the new D.A, again?

im still amazed at how picky people can be with something....i dont like critics...

Oy, I have a huge different opinion on that but thats another story. All in all I think 2012 is simply when their calander ended. That's all. No armageddon.

But concerns? None so far....To be honest, this might be the greatest film i've ever seen.
