The Dark Knight Does anyone have any concerns about the movie....

the concerns i have are with the reviews. i've read a few, skipping spoilers, but it seems like the masses are going to like, but g4 and all the sites that have given us something major in the production(pics, clips, etc) are saying its good, but its too long, or its too dark. aren't those people almost in line with being fanboys?

another thing is that even when they say heath's not oscar worthy or that this shouldn't be compared with godfather 2 or empire,they don't say anything bad about the movie. they say its amazing, but its like what do these people consider an oscar worthy performance?

i really don't go to a movie based on reviews but its like people are saying "its great, but..." and their "but" is not really justified.

I wouldn't consider anyone at G4 credible. I can't stand anyone on that network.

I think someone who has seen the movie already said that his accent isn't like that in the final cut of that scene. I also think that some of the bad editing in some of those clips has been fixed and are better in the actual movie.

Most critics are praising Ledger, Oldman, and Eckhart.

You can tell that some of the clips aren't finished, especially the one with Batman on the batpod (editing). Those clips are there to give people a glimpse of the product, not the final product.

thank god fo that, the clip on the batpod was really underwhelming for me. glad to hear its better in the movie.

If you pay attention to the clip of Batman racing through the mall/tunnel, you can clearly see continuity errors -- Batman shoots the glass out of the door/then you see him in a completely different location/he enters the mall and meets Joker's Swat van in the street.


I'm sure everything was cleaned up in post.

They say they don't know how to top this one. Well i think they should finally have the house rebuilt as thats one of the things that's a necessity to the Batman mythos. Secondly build a new batmobile as Bats needs a transport method, he's not Superman.
I'm thinking this time a longer sleeker car, a bit in the design as those LeMans cars. Onto the villain, i really wish they would have done something else with Two Face but oh well. I say bring back Ra's as it's about time, perhaps key in Talia also and so on. I think it's time to maybe move onto something else from the mob angle.

Uhm...it gets destroyed so he clearly needs a faster car rather than a tank. The point of the Batmobile is transportation and to help him get to a crime scene or escape it ASAP. Please no overload of BAT-device, i'm good enough with only the bike and car.
