Comics Doesn't anyone else read Spider-Girl??

Don't forget that the Spider-Girl Digest volume #4 is coming out in September (I think), and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and other online bookstores.

What will be the arcs they'll have in this upcoming digest, Jarkoer? Any clue?

Volume #4 is subtitled "Turning Point". It's coming out September 21st, but I already got a copy reserved off of Amazon. Here's their write-up :

Book Description
The adventures of Spider-Man's daughter continue as Mayday once again faces Kaine, Spider-Man swings again, and Darkdevil is... actually nice?! Plus: Meet new heroes and villains, take a peek into the fantasies of Mayday's friends, and witness the return of the Green Goblin! Collects Spider-Girl #17-21, 1/2.

Hee! I bet it's gonna be a shocker to some to see how Moose was characterized waaaaaaay back in the day compared to how Tom's playing him now. That guy's undergone the one of the biggest changes in the series next to Normie.

I don't know when volume #5 is supposed to come out, but it might have #27 in it. That was a kicking issue. I'm glad volume #4 has #17 in it. That's probably my favorite of the first twenty issues. Really cool to see Mayday really get into a blistering argument with her dad and really assert herself as Spider-Girl!

Good looking out J! Moose has definitely made BIG changes over the years, but that's a natrual progression for a guy like Moose, and Tom matures him very well. See, that's the thing that i like about the book, and the characters, they evolve. They don't remain the same for years, and years, and years like most. Even Davida changed when she had that rift with Lucy, and Heather as well. Anyway, i'll stop my ranting, but you see where i'm going with all this.

The cover to #91.

I think I recognize a lot of them. Some of them (like the black and red one) were some concept sketches Ron did when he took over from Pat but never used. A couple are directly off the cover to SG #44 (or whichever one it was). That one on the top right and top left look like they were patterned after these old Halloween costumes I found on the internet and used in a banner last year.

Hee! Neat. Maybe my banner gave Ron an idea and helped contribute to a cover. :-D

That's a pretty neat cover. Wonder what's gonna be going on storyline wise?

Sweet. Thanks, jarkoer. That'll definitely be cool to see who is the owner of the Spider Shoppe.

I don't have a clue to who could be the mysterious owner? What if it was secertly Normie all along? (I know that i'm always trying to tie Normie to everything, huh? LOL!)

Maybe!
The wording's kind of ambiguous because it doesn't make it clear that the terrorist and the "that someone" are two different people. It can't be Black Tarantula because he hadn't even heard of Spider-Girl until the Marked for Death arc, and the Spider Shoppe's been around since #44 (or whatever it was). I guess we'll find out in October. :)

In comic reality, I don't think it would make a lot of sense to go around wearing a superhero costume. Super villains are always going after the good guys, and a case of mistaken identity could happen. ("Sorry, Galactus! I'm really not the Silver Surfer. I just picked this up at that store down the street!")

On the other hand, though, who wouldn't want a Spider-Girl book bag and alarm clock? I bet they got some killer SG posters in that store too. :)

I'm with BLAQUE-SPIDERMAN on this one. I think there's a good possibility that it's Normie Osborn. Because other than that I can't think of anybody else it could be. So, if it's not Normie than I'll most likely be insanely surprised.

During his moment of clarity, Normie could've had the shop put up so May wouldn't have to worry about new costumes?? So you guys have a feeling it could be Normie's doing too? That'd be crazy if it was really true.

Hey, perhaps it's MJ! After all, she HAS been making numerous Spidey costumes for years now! Might as well make money off of it!

Thanks for that preview. And strange is definitely an understatement. Holy CRAP!!!!
