Comics Doesn't anyone else read Spider-Girl??

Yes sir SpideyInATree! Yes indeed, and i'm REDAY for the answers to my burning theroy's too! Do any of you think that this new verison of Venom could possibly be Phil, and NOT Normie...opps, i meant Norman? I can barely contain myself awaiting the answers!!

Well, after reading the latest issue of Spider-Girl I'm just wondering what the heck Normie (or as he likes to be called now, "Norman") has up his sleeve. After what Kaine saw with his heightened Spider-sense it's safe to say the dookie is about to hit the fan.

figured i shyld post this....WAAAAHEY old ss costume!!!:D
looks like im gonna start reading spidey-gal again

Ok, i got the latest issue, and i'm kinda puzzled! I too, am a little confused about Normie's mission though, and Raptor was all but happy to learn of his secert too. What did she mean when she said: "We'll never be free." Hmmm. There seems to be some shady business goin' on with Weadon's Super-Team... I'll wait to see what happens next issue, and what Kaine's vision really means.

Yeah, it seems that Defalco and company are setting up something huge as we approach ish # 100.

Whatever it is, i hope it's BIG! But for the time being, i just hope that Normie isn't trying to start up another Super-Team, because i really don't like it when May has to bossed around! And why was Tony Stark so firm with Mainframe? Hmmmm.....

You may find a clue on the cover to Spider-Girl No. 97, which will be out in April. Tom DeFalco had it on display at the Mid-Ohio-Con in Columbus, but he asked me not to post it until now. I just added it to the Spider-Girl message board, so if you want to see it, click here.

Beware, though. The cover is a major spoiler. Don't look if you don't want to know!

OMG!!!!!!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That cover will boost readership by the thousands I gurantee it :spidey: :spidey:

I'll wait until the issue comes out. I'm not much for spoilers...kind of ruins the whole comic book experience for me. :O

@Jeffers: This why you're the man standing next to the Man! thanks for the link bro! I can't wait for everything to heat up!

@SpideyInATree: You sure you don't wanna take a peek? (LOL!) I ain't mad at'cha, but i have a confession:I LOOKED!

Hey everybody, i'd just like to wish you all the Happiest of Holidays! Be safe, and above all: Enjoy every moment with your families! Peace!

Heh. Trust me it's very tempting to take a look as Spider-Girl is one of my favorite monthly titles. But if it's as big as Jeffers describes it sounds like it will DEFINITELY be worth the wait.

And Happy Holidays to you as well, BLAQUE-SPIDEY!

:spidey:

I was really into Spider-Girl when it first came out, but then I lost intrest around the time that Pete was talking about donning the suite to help out May.

The last issue I saw looked intresting, but what has happened majorly, because I may get back into the comic I am just so far behind.

The beauty of Spider-Girl is that while it's fun to stay up to date with continuity, you don't have to. Tom and Ron are careful to make sure readers know what's going on in the latest issue even if it's the first time they have picked up picked up a Spider-Girl. Perhaps especially if they've never read an issue before.

Sounds like you left off around issue 17, which is in the most recent digest, No. 4. The fifth digest comes out next month and it'll take you up to No. 27, which a lot of fans (including me) think is the best issue.

My advice is to buy the latest issue, enjoy it and then post whatever specific questions you have. Someone around here will be glad to answer. And it seems that the ride to No. 100 will be a blast.

Note to Blaque-Spidey: I'm the guy behind the guy. And I always double down on 11. Happy holidays!

Jeffers is definitely the best organizer out there. He's the man with the master plan! :)

Happy New Year, everybody! Don't wake up with too much of a hang over on Sunday. It's best to drink some water before ya go to bed.

Spider-Girl looks interesting again...

I'll be picking up the next issue whenever that is...

How has the book been this past while? I think the last time I collected it regularly was around the end on the Turantula stuff...

You've missed a really good three part Venom arc, also Issue 89 was really well done as well. The one thing you need to grab is Issue 93, as some major plot points were set up

Well in that case, allow me to WELCOME YOU BACK ABOARD! A lot of good stuff has gone on in your brief absence, but you know how easy it is to get back up to speed with Spider-Girl, so you shouldn't be out the loop for long. How was your Christmas, my friend? I can't tell you how good it is to see you posting here again, hopefully you'll be back to stay! Be easy....
