Could the GG liquid have had an effect onNormie making him have more of a desire to keep the symbiote? I love the last few issues.

I'm sure it has something to do with it. ;)

Hey, I just started page 90. I wonder if that's good luck or something. :D

Sorry Blaque-Spiderman i hadn't seen that you had already thrown that idea out there. I should read back a few pages and get cought up with the discutions.
No problem VC, as a matter of fact, it's good to read your posts in this thread again! So you ask the question as many times as you like! Did you like the current issue? I think that Funny Face will the "Chameleon" of Spider-Girl's rogue gallery, but as for young Osborn- i'd like to think that there's a few rabbits up his sleeve! I don't think that the symbiote was a part of the equation orignally, but it'd sure make things all the more interesting. What if Fury's attack on Normie was staged between the two, and he ordered for the symbiote without anyone ever knowing about it? If i could be a guest writer for Spider-Girl, i'd probably get nothin' but hate mail for that one!!

'Sup Jeffers!

Well, I'm starting to get excited about seeing the Spider-Girl team at the Pittsburgh Comicon next week! Everyone should keep their eyes on the Spider-Girl message board for convention news.

Sounds like you're gonna have a ball my man! I'll definitely be looking out for the highlights of the convention over @ the SGMB.

Sounds cool!

This next story arc should be cool. But why, oh, why does Franklin still have that ridiculous hairstyle?

Disappearance of the Invisible Woman. Ha ha ha. That kills me.

I'll be bringing my digital camera and laptop, so I'll definitely be posting pictures!

Tom is a genius!!! I love the pacing of what's going on with Normie, now that he has the symbiote under his control(?), but that panel of him upclose when he had that Normanesqe smile gave me chills!! Although it was all good to write Normie as being "sane", and May's confidant for the past few years, unfortunately he'll always be an Osborn, and being a Goblin is in his genes! I have more to say, but i gotta jet! Last day to do my taxes!! More later!!

Well first off, let me just say that God is good!! I wasn't expecting a tax return this year due to owing taxes in 2000, but i went ahead and filed anyway, and low an' behold- i get a refund!! Alright, alight- back to the topic at hand, but i had to let y'all know! Now as i was saying in my last post, with regards to what i believe Tom is setting up the ultimate Spider-Girl/Green Goblin showdown, and he's putting the pieces together very nicely. Now for those who may not know what i'm talking about, i'm referring to preview of Spider-Girl #86, and my thoughts on what may, or may not happen in the future between May and Normie. We still don't know what effects the Goblin serum had on Normie, and what his true intentions with the symbiote are. What i do know is that their relationship we never be the same, as we clearly see the strain it's putting May through, and what very little trust she has in Normie. I'm also very interested to know about Sue Storms' disappearance. Could Dr. Doom have anything to do with it? We'll soon see. Last note, any of y'all check out the cornrows on the Super Skrull? LOL! Lata....

Another thing, i think Normie does in fact love May, but i think that deep down he may have known the day would come when he would have to fufill his destiny as the heir of the Osborn/Goblin legacy. He also knows that they could never be, due to the history and complex nature of their families background- one side chose good, and the other evil. Which may explain why Normie chose to be with Brenda, someone who had a criminal past, and if he does go back to becoming the Goblin again, like his grandfather, he'd make sure that she would be loyal to him in all things. As i've said before, Tom has definitely got a rabbit up his sleeve, and though my assumptions could be way outta left field, it's gonna be exciting to see how things play out inthe end!

I wonder who's going to die in the "Last Hero Standing" arc? Honestly, i hope it's Nova! I could never stand his character!

Thanks for the welcome back BSM. I had been busy but I have been reading Spider-Girl the entire time though. I liked the last issue with Happy Face, they should have let him keep his doll. I love how Peter was protective of May and just still wanted to be a hero. I would like to have seen Normie really stay on the good side and him and May eventualy have kids that would be both Goblin and Spider. It would be interesting to see Green Goblins with spider powers fighting Ben's kids. But that would take along time to develope. how many more issues have been anouced?

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Spider-Girl on-line chat!

At 2:30 p.m. U.S. Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, April 23, Tom DeFalco and other members of the Spider-Girl creative time will participate in an on-line chat while they are together at the Pittsburgh Comicon (yours truly will be transcribing their responses). To participate, go to the Spider-Girl Message Board and click on "Chat Room" directly beneath the banner at the top of the page. The chat probably will last half an hour. Spider-Girl editor Molly Lazer also may join the chat from New York.

Also, from 1 to 2 p.m. US EST on Saturday, April 23, Jeffers will be in the same chat room during the con's "Spider-Girl Fan Appreciation" panel to relay on-line questions and comments to the creative team.

Thanks for the look out Jeffers!! Unfortunately i just on-line, (4pm PT), but i look forward to reading the transcripts of the Q & A session though! As a matter of fact, i'm out.....!!

Aloha,
While I rarely get over here just wanted to say that I love ALL of the Spider-Girl comics. I have the complete collection and have no intenetion of ever selling it. This little lady has outlasted some big names in Marvel as far as her own series goes. Sorry I missed the chat. Hope it was nothing but good news regarding the longevity of this titles.
Spidey rules and so does his alternate universe daughter

Thanks Donald, for always showing the love to Spider-Girl, and this thread! Well gang, after spending time over the SGMB, i must admit that i hate i missed out on the online chat, AND getting the chance to the SG Team! If you guys' haven't been over lately, go on over an' check out the pics', spoiler info on "LHS", and the whole nine! Again, shout out to Jeffers and Jarkoer for providing all the highlights of the event, and making us feel as though we where there as well! I'll get back later- 5000!!

Oh yeah, Spider-Girl has been extended to issue 100, but we have to continue in our efforts to keep her going until the threat of the "C-word" diminishes forever more!

One last thing- Jeffers managed to host an audio feed from the panel, so if you guys are interested, head on over to the Spider-Girl Message Board now! It's awesome to hear Tom, Pat, and Ron discuss how things came about for the MC2 line! Jeffers, you the MAN!!

With my digital camera, I was able to snag about 40 minutes of VIDEO of the Appreciation Panel. I also got about 15 minutes or so of autograph sessions and private questions with the rest of the crew (including a 7 minute segment showing Sal doing a sketch for me). I'm not a videographer, so there's some camera wobble. The sound is not the greatest, but you can still make out what's being said.

I'd like for everybody that's interested to get a copy, but at over 600 mb totaled I can't post it on the internet myself. Is there anybody out there who knows enough to clean up sound, slice up a ".mov" file into downloadable sections, and is willing to host it?
