To everyone on this list- none of this would be possible without YOUR input! Thank you all, and keep on posting!! :D Like i said before, who do we need to talk to about adding a Spider-Girl Smile to the list of Smiles? She's definitely a force to be reckoned with!!

Forgive me for being a month behind, but i just read #88 last night, and LOVED it!

Seeing a re-united Fantastic Four in the MC2 Universe was extremely heart warming.

(Watching Ben kick the crap out of Apox wasn't too shabby either, lol)

Hey, better late than never Capt.! And Ben was puttin' a spankin' on Apox, wasn't he?! Where you able to grab ish 89? I'm still behind on that one myself, i haven't been able to make the time to get over to the comic shop! :(

I have only one thing to say, and that is: BUMP!

Hee! Hee! Dang noisy neighbors.

I like what Ron did with May's hair. I guess it's still the same old hairstyle but she just put a part in it. Makes her look ... I don't ... more "intelligent"?

Tom's continuing that little subplot with May and MJ from LHS into SG. It's really tying well into the whole "balancing act" that May's having to do between the heroics and school and her family life. It's nice to see Mayday around a bit more, but she needs to start hitting those books more or else she'll be looking at summer school. I think in its own way this subplot is just as powerful as anything else previous because it's also talking about something that a lot of people forget and that is the loved ones of these heroes when they go out and have adventures. It's cool that she and her mother have this understanding from SG #61, but it's even more cool in my opinion to see all this worry and stress start to bubble to the surface.

Great point. The "human" aspect of the stories make them more heartfelt, and brings "balance", like you said Jarkoer. I hope to see Spider-Girl's alter-ego more in stories to come! BUT- i'm ready for the conclusion to the Normie/Symbiote, and what's to become of his relationship with Brenda, and May.

Tom said last April to "have faith" in Normie. And in that interview that Galactus linked to, Tom said that his plans for Normie were different from what everybody was expecting. Okay, this is totally far-fetched, but what if Normie is making all this goblin gear for Phil?

I read and love Spider-Girl, so I just figured I'd chime in.
I think it's much more consistant quality wise than pretty much any of the other Spidey titles.
Great stuff... where else can you get so many throwbacks to the Clone Saga?!

You guys actually acknowledged what he said? He's probably just a 12 year old punk, just trying to start some ****.

Well, of course he is. But it's been such a long time between trolls and I've been saving that cool Spider-Girl related pun for weeks now, looking for a chance to use it. Hee! Hee! :)

Allow me to welcome to the Hype, Rez, and if you're looking for back issues, check out Ebay. Our resident poster, Spideywebs, might be able to give you some help in that endeavor! Don't be a stranger, feel free to post as much as you like, and ask as many questions as you'd like too!

My philosophy is this when it comes to people who want post negatively- "KILL 'EM WITH KINDESS"! Positivety keeps the Haters' at bay, and eventually- we win them over when they see that the boat is still sailing strong! ;)

I am happy to have a complete collection of Spider-girl :D Well, except for the Wizard 1/2 issue, but a couple people I have spoke to said it wasn't that great. I got mine from www.mycomicshop.com. I paid more than I wanted, but e-bay would be a good place.

Thanks. I'm well versed in collecting things, and, well, if I told you just how many Spidey comics I have you probably wouldn't believe me. But to this day I have every issue of Spider-Girl, and love nearly all of them.

Cool deal Rez, and like you, i love all my Spider-Girl issues too! When we have everybody posting on a regular basis, this thread is very fun, and we're quite a lively bunch as well! So as i said before, fire away!

Also, i didn't read your first post correctly Rez. You weren't asking for back issues, you were commenting on the Clone Saga continuity being followed up in Spider-Girl. My bad. Maybe i should read a little bit more carefully next time!

No worries mate. It's a message board, and the literacy rate here is a lot higher than most.

Some people were asking about the return of Nancy Lu? :D

Spider-Girl #92
spidergirl92.jpg

Written by Tom DeFalco, pencils and cover by Ron Frenz.

"In The Shadow of Evil--!" After training with the X-People, Nancy Lu finally returns to Forest Hills as Spider-Girl faces the startling return of a powerful super-villain‹and it's not the one you think.

32 pages, $2.99, in stores on Nov. 2. [/B]

She's got a suit!

That's probably my most favorite part o' Spider-Girl...th' clone saga HAPPENED. Long live Ben Reilly!

I like the fact that they havent forgotten about Nancy. Its been awhile since we have seen her. It will be interesting to see how she has evolved.

I even like the throwback "Marvel Girl" costume! So that won't be Magento that we know, huh? Intersesting....
