i like the spider-girl book.
Welcome to Spider-Girl Hype, Henri DuCard]i! Spider-Girl is all that, so run and tell your friends that Spider-Girl is the BOMB!

Say, not that I want DeFalco to leave the book anytime soon, but if there comes a time when that does happen, I'd like Dan Slott or Sean McKeever to take over writing chores. Take a look at Slott's Spider-Man/Human Torch limited series, and you'll see he can convey the proper mix of reverence, humor, and pathos that is essential to a good Spidey comic (I also liked his GLA miniseries -- I always love loser heroes and Slott makes them so loveable). And Sean McKeever has shown he can write a good Spider-Girl comic in issue 51 (it wasn't really a Spider-Girl adventure, but it was original and brilliantly told).

Slott would be awesome on Spider-Girl, without a doubt. But I'd rather see Slott write one of the core Spider-Man books than Spider-Girl.

Slott put it down on the Spidey/Torch series, i did enjoy the mini, but i can't co-sign for McKeever based on just one Spider-Girl one-shot. Not saying that he can't step up the plate, but again- it was one story he told.

Make sure you guys head over to Mile High Comics to see the 4 page Spider-Girl preview! (For those of you that don't mind a lil' Spoilers!)

I bought it today, great issue I really liked the allusion to Rod the Hobgoblin :spidey:

It was definitely a much better issue than the previous one. And we found out who owns and runs the Spider Shoppe. It's actuallly pretty logical who it is and the explanation for it is pretty cool. And there are tons of older villain connections in this issue. Daniel Kingsley and Staci Smythe. NICE!

Hey guys!

Sorry I haven't posted in so long, but I moved over the summer and five days after we closed a pipe started to leak and a room in the basement was destroyed. So I've been busy.

Anyway, I don't know if anyone saw this at the Spider-Girl Message Board, but Tom DeFalco has asked everyone to name his or her three favorite Spider-Girl story. He doesn't say why, but I assume some kind of "Best of Spider-Girl" collection is involved.

Anyway, here's the link if you want to participate.

:D

Issue 48 - 50 with Kaine and Alison Mongrain have to be my personal favorties

Tom'll probobly make issue 100 be one of those hundred page monsters with three books alongside the main story

i read spider-girl #91... i was WOWED by the last page.
It's been raining here, and i haven't been to the C.S. yet! At the first break of sunlight tommorrow, i'll be there! I MUST HAVE MY ISSUE!!!

I felt issue 91 was a good issue. Being a big Hobgoblin fan, I'm glad to see Kingsley back in the picture, even if it is Roderick's brother (or is it?). Personally, I feel that it's definently Daniel since everyone knows about the hair trick and Roderick's probably somewhere in the Caribbean still (that's still in continuity in MC2).

The fact that the Parker's owned the spider-shoppe seemed strange only because they kept it secret.

My favorite line in the issue was: "Score one for the lab boy." LOL!! That guy may've looked like good ol' Robbie Robertson, but he sure didn't have his mannerisms! Ron did a kick ass job of drawing MJ, and i loved seeing her pay homage to Pete by wearing his first costume with the blue spider! Oh, another great line: "They have Courtney's size??" LOL! Great stuff!
