Amazing trailer. February 28th can't get here soon enough.

I'll be 30 next month and mine already creak pretty badly so it's all good lol

There is also the shot of Beveryly Katz in the workstation covered by the plastic sheet with Lecter looking in. A room in his house possibly? Or another crime scene?

If they kill off too many of the best people it will kill this show. That is why I am hoping that trailer is full of misdirection.

Well Fuller has said season 3 will be Lecter on the run...

ComingSoon.net has a Canadian friendly link to view the trailer, and what a trailer!

The only network drama I'll be watching this winter, so good.

Sometimes, I wish there was any given time of the year I could say Im only watching one drama but it literally doesn't happen. Lol

I easily watch at least five shows during any given point in the year. Most times it's more. I am addicted. :(

Me too. It's been pretty bad before too. I once watched season 3 of LOST in its entirety in a single sitting. Hell, the last time I watched The Shield all the way through I did it in less than two weeks. When something is good enough I want it ****ing imprinted on my brain. It's like a compulsion, I've honestly thought about counseling for it lol. Fiction addiction

I sort of worried about that. My main hope wound be that if the show gets canceled at this season, we'd at the very least get to finish it with seeing Lector actually caught. I want to see them adapt Red Dragon, Silence, and Hannibal, and then see what happens afterward, but Lector actually getting caught is sort of the only territory that's not been covered of the whole Hannibal story outside what happens after Hannibal. I'd hate for it to get axed without at least seeing that part.

OMG, I hope some of that was a dream scenario situation (guess which), because otherwise I REALLY wish I hadn't watched that.

Even if it gets canceled this season, it could still be picked up by another network.

Hopefully not Netflix like the Killing. I don't get their streaming. :(

Netflix would be better than nothing though.

Yep. There's an article from a few months back, before NBC officially gave is a second season, saying that there were several other networks/services interested in the show. I'm pretty sure Netflix was one of them. They've saved The Killing twice, I imagine they would do the same with this, if needed.

I don't think it will be cancelled. Grimm did well enough on Fridays to be moved back to the week. Plus Hannibal is critically acclaimed. If it does happen to be cancelled I have no doubt it will be picked up by another network hopefully A&E. Hannibal and Bates Motel back to back would be perfect.

I'd like to think NBC will keep Hannibal around for the prestige. They need one critically acclaimed show.

Do networks generally do things like that? That is, keep shows around for the prestige?

I mean. Fuller's seven season plan sounds gloriously awesome, but I'm not sure how they'd make it that far. I'd certainly love for them to though.

It depends on the show. Carnivale, for instance, was one of the most critically acclaimed shows running at the time, but it still got canceled mainly due to never finding a compromise in regards to budget. A lot of it comes to down to how much the network in question is willing to send to keep these shows of Prestige around.

But I do hope that other networks are legitimately interested. It'd be nice for a Fuller headed series to finally go past two seasons.

Some spoilers (not very big ones) from a fan who was present at the panel yesterday (cast and Fuller presented season 2 to journalists and some fans I think):

What else did he say? Can you tell us? Someone else said they went but gave minimal detail.

Sure….there wasn’t that much Season Two talk, to be honest. Not in terms of spoilers, anyway. (It was more general talk about writing process, showrunner process, etc)

The big thing I remember is that three characters die. Episode five opens without much dialogue (just a voiceover) and a sequence of other characters reacting to the news. This is very curious to me in that this isn’t exactly a tight knit ensemble. There are plenty of characters who can die, but their death wouldn’t really make an impact on multiple other characters. But anyway. Bryan Fuller said that one of the character deaths made him cry, in terms of both the character and the actor and the story, etc. I think he referenced this in regard to the episode five death.

I really don’t remember much else of interest about the show itself. He mentioned a conversation Will and Gideon have at some point about how Will’s being affected by everything, and he said the scene was very informational, but then he started thinking about skin grafts and ended up using that as a metaphor in some way.

There’s a killer early on who kills people based on their skin color…more in regards to aesthetic rather than race.

Can’t think of anything else that stuck out to me…
