The first scene at the last episode was glorious. I can't believe they got away with airing that! :wow:

Not to mention [blackout]Bloom inadvertently gives Hannibal Will's home address, which is what ultimately leads to climax of the book when Dolarhyde finds and disfigures Will[/blackout]. While Bloom's role is small, it is quite substantial.

Actually [blackout] wasn't it the stupid temp secretary working in Dr. Bloom's office that gives Hannibal the home address?[/blackout]

Recently got into the show. Love it. I'm wondering if they will introduce Clarice (if we get more seasons.) Just got done watching the first season and episode one of this season.

Can't wait to see how Jack gets that Hannibal is the Ripper.

Fuller has said he's working from a 7 season plan as of right now. The first three will be original material with the fourth being a version of Red Dragon, the fifth being Silence of the Lambs, the sixth being Hannibal, and the last being new content after the books.

There's some kind of rights issue right now with Silence of the Lambs where Lifetime (I think) was going to make a series with Clarice, and they have the rights to characters introduced in Silence. Or something like that. So, right now, it's up in the air as to whether or not we'll have Clarice, but I think it's a sure thing we'll get some kind of altered, Fullerized version of the story if the series makes it that far.

Yea it's Lifetime that was developing Clarice. ****ing Lifetime smh

Thanks for the info. I hope Lifetime folds and let's Fuller get Clarice. I would much rather see his version than theirs. I hope to God we get seven seasons. This show deserves it.

Yea it really does. I seriously need a great serial killer show to end in a great way after the disaster that was Dexter.

I'm surprised that Freddie has shown up yet. She was calling Will crazy from the get go.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially with how prominently she was featured last year

With Will behind bars for the foreseeable future, I look forward to seeing Freddie interacting with Lecter more at the scenes of crimes. Maybe even finding them chasing down the same leads, or "cooperating" under some circumstances.

MAJOR SPOILER WARNING (But I want to discuss it damn it-and it's not TOO big IMO):

From a recent interview with AXN, Mads and Lawrence dropped a MAJOR SPOILER BOMB:

Laurence: Miriam is Jack's protege who he unofficially officially gave her permission to go do some questionable things... as a result, she's disappeared, and nobody's seen her for a couple years.
Mads: so we bring her back, and it's quite scary what's happened to her and what's going to happen with her.

:huh:WOW, I don't get it: Is she still alive? Missing one arm? And this is supposed to be our Clarice-alike? I don't know if I like it or not. Probably that's the kiss and romance that's "unexpected" as Mads called it before..

And if yes, what does Fuller have in mind? Because obviously Miriam aka Clarice, cannot remain in the series for long. So, we get our "Clarice" for a few more scenes/episodes and that's it?? Meh.. that's lame..Me don't likey.:cmad:
If that's the case, I tend to believe the series will never touch the novels canon. At least not after SOTL. Crap. :cmad:(But I told you so!! Hope I'm wrong though).

P.S. It would be interesting though to find out what happened to her. Just hope it isn't lame

Sounds like you're looking into what was said a little too much. My guess is they mean:

They'll probably revisit the character and what happened to her in a flashback. I also don't think she's suppose to be Clarice.

Things are heating up!

Damn you Freddy Lounds!

Oh, Freddie Lounds... I look forward to the moment you meet your fate. :o

Will had himself a solid lawyer. If I'm ever convicted of terrible murders, I want that guy.

Also the preview seems to indicate that Beverly Katz is spearheading Will's investigation into Hannibal. So I'm sure that'll work out for her.

So I was thinking last night that what if the person who is killed the bailiff and the judge is [BLACKOUT]Abigail Hobbs[/BLACKOUT]

If that is the case it would be amazing.

I'm all caught up for the season. In my opinion this is the best show on TV at the moment.

[BLACKOUT]I would love for that to be true, but I think the line about the bailiff thinking the killer was his friend negates it. [/BLACKOUT]
