I suspect Jack's in on it.

I love how they got Michael Pitt to match Gary Oldman's inflection. To a lesser degree than Esparza's outright impersonation of Anthony Heald's Chilton, but still very noticeable. Mason is one freaky dude, I'm excited to see him stick around and cause trouble.

Can this show get any better?! Amazing episode. NBC will be dumb not to pick this show up for the rest of its existence. Love it.

Somebody needs to make a meme that's a pic of Jonah Hill from This Is The End with the caption "Bryan Fuller your metaphors are outta control bro"

The second Will said the words "long pig", you could practically hear Hannibal getting hard.

I also love the way he whipped himself around when Alana brought up Freddie Lounds. He legitimately can't wait to kill her.

So is Will legitimately a crazy killer now?

I'm pretty sure Will is trapping Hannibal.... *ahem* Pretty sure. :p

That's what I thought too until he assaulted the reporter, but it's a show so I was gonna let it slide...but then he ate human meat. Hannibal knows what human tastes like so Will wouldn't try to feed him animal meat and tell him it was human. Least I don't think Will would be that stupid. And I hope the writers don't expect me to believe that Hannibal wouldn't know the difference between human meat and cow meat.

Yeah my thoughts too. I wonder if maybe Will is legitimately being controlled by Hannibal. In the movies they have shown Hannibal to be very powerful in controlling others minds like in Silence of the Lambs when he has Miggs swallow his own tongue or
when he has Verger slice of his own face in Hannibal
. It's hard to say because they aren't strictly following the stories, with Chilton being dead and it seems Jack discovering Hannibal, it leaves whats left to be unpredictable which I think is great.

Fuller's comments about Chilton imply that he's still alive...

Freddie Lounds is definitely alive and now working with Will to take to Hannibal.

Althought, Fuller keeps openly saying she has been killed. I think he's trying to mislead us. If Will really did kill her and eat her with Hannibal, then I'm not down with that.

I don't even think Freddie is nesscarly has to be down for the plan. He could be just holding her somewhere against her wishes. The meat I suspect is actual human meat just not lounds meat.

Yeah, I can't buy that Will is actually a killer now. We know that he's going to catch Hannibal at some point, it's clearly part of Will messing with Hannibal like he did with him. Just the fact that we think it might be, though, goes to show how well crafted the story is.

Still though, Will can't BS Hannibal when it comes to human meat, or any meat for that matter, so either Will is a killer and he committed cannibalism or he is trying to trap Hannibal and he committed cannibalism. Either way he committed cannibalism which is some serious dedication to the trap and also :barf:.

Let's not forget that Will still has parts of Randall. That could be where the meat is coming from. Though I don't know why it'd taste "frightened"/acidic, but it potentially could. I certainly don't think even Randall would be ok with and/or not at least a little scared when he was being ****in beaten to death.

It's doesn't have to be either/or, I'm sure it'll be explained and make sense.

I'm talking about Will actually eating human meat more than who it was, really.

Does anyone really want to see Michael Pitt as The Joker after this episode?

I love how Will is getting Hannibal to show him all of his cards, by acting like he's training/teaming up with Will. Totally using their 'friendship' of all things to take the man down...

Oh, so nice to have Pitt back on tv.

It has to be human meat. There is no other way it makes any sense. The writers trying to say Hannibal wouldn't know whether it was human meat or not would be like them trying to say me or you wouldn't know a piece of cow, pork, or lamb when it was in front of us or in our mouth. Given that Hannibal is also a chef he is even more likely to know exactly what he is eating and Will knows this so I really think Will ate human flesh. I think this how dedicated he is to this.

Not really, but only because I think it'd be too much like Ledger's. We've been there done that, brilliant as it was, the next Joker needs to be unique in its own ways not do what Ledger did.

Well it's not like Will hasn't eaten human flesh before. Only difference is now he knows it.
