Damn, those preview numbers are insane. For comparisons sake, if it posts similar OW multiplier as that of T:TDW, it'll make 112 million.

Now that is probably not gonna happen but still these numbers are extremely encouraging. Me thinks 90-92 million OW is very much on the cards right now.

Excellent preview numbers. The fact that it is outgrossing Thor The Dark World is an excellent sign going forward. 80M+ owe locked I think. 85M+ possible. 90M+ might be tough considering the time of release but not entirely off the table right now.

And seeing the first estimates going up from the 65-70M week old projections is another positive sign.

Numbers are great, but if I'm not mistaken, these films are getting more and more frontloaded. Which is logical. 14 movies in, Marvel has found it's fans while the rest may be intimidated.

But then again, this can be considered a stand alone movie with a brand new character. Like Ant-Man which did have great legs.

Ant-Man was a summer release, so I don't expect a 3.15 multiplier for DS (Fall release) but it'll still do very well.

85-90M OW is fantastic, far greater than I would have expected for this flick. Things are looking good!

I'm kind of surprised that opening day in China is barely more than Ant-Man, considering how popular Cumberbatch is there. Though maybe Ant-Man really overperformed on OD thanks to very good will from other countries (China's release date was like 3 months after domestic date and by that time Ant-Man and the Wasp was already announced).

I never would've imagined, even after GOTG proved naysayers wrong 2 years ago, that DR STRANGE would be a hit on the scale it seems to have already achieved if it's projected OW is anything to go by.

The China opening number indicates it will outgross BVS over there, like ant-man did. 100 mil domestic ow is a lot more possible now but still a bit of a reach. Would not be surprised though to see it hit it. Well done Marvel.
