Nice makeup job, but it needs more black around the eyes.

And I KNOW that you guys are all being gentlemen and not ripping off my pattern!

Tell them you'll beat them up if they make you get a haircut. And (not being a dick) I hope you don't plan on bringing those to the movie. :cwink:

I have a seamstress making my costume here in the city, she does professional costumes for the Majestic (huge theater in San Antonio) and larger scale things for theaters in NY and such.

My sister also met a hairdresser at her new job (she is a professional hairdresser and actually worked for several large name celebrities when she still worked near California) and he did Heath's hair for three of his films, she talked to him and he said he had dozens of reference pictures for the Joker and would style and dye my hair if I drive up to the shop. So I am getting my hair dyed and styled as close to Heath's from the film about a week before the movie.

I am also planning on attaching a black ribbon to my finished costume (see "bear his mark" thread) as a tribute to Heath, he was my favorite actor, still is, and I want to celebrate the memory of this generation's finest actor.

Just saw printed fabric on ebay for making a Joker shirt.
The auction doesn't close until 6-24 and it's already up to $173, with only 4 bids.
That's WAY more than I'm paying to have my fabric printed!

I'll be wearing jeans and a Joker shirt. Please, no applause about my originality is required.

joker in the street shirt...joker socks...and friends and i are wearing my collection of goon masks...:)

I can't believe how bad the Joker is getting jocked! Atleast you guys read the comics and such, I know people who are like "OMG JOKER" and don't even know what The Killing Joke is. Hell, I know one girl who called herself "Jokers Girl" (she said huh? when I asked "did you mean Harley Quinn?") who doesn't even know Batman Begin's exist. I'm playing the sick cruel joke of letting her go see TDK and not knowing what the hell is going on. :D

As for me, I will be wearing my custom made Two-Face shirt, air paint spray or whatever its called, cost me $100, doh! a pair of jeans and my shoes

You do know it is not hard to have "Joker hair"? I have longish curly hair and had it in the same style as The Joker's before his full figure pictures were released, except my hair is not receding like his, all you need is some curling moose, long hair and common sense on how to part it all to the side without looking emo :P

If I can get my hands on one before July 18th, I'll be wearing an "I Believe In Harvey Dent" t-shirt. Other than Hot Topic, where can I find one - if anyone knows?

Wait what:wow::wow::wow:

Friday. July 18th.

How much did it cost for you to make that, and how long?

It took me a little over a month to put together from concept to finish. That was waiting for pieces, construction of certain pieces, modifying of pieces, and the ultimate putting together. Im still waiting for my boots tho.

I've never dressed up at midnight showings before. Do people tend to give you crap about it or respect you?

I wanted to go as Harvey Dent but have half my face darkened but then lighter makeup over it... basically two-face but his scarred side made to look more like his normal side so that it looks like the scarring is underneath but hasn't been to the surface yet.

my other idea was to go as the joker

my girlfriend wasn't too pleased with either idea so I will end up just wearing a Joker tshirt I got i guess

I'll be just like most...jeans shoes...and the first Joker shirt from HT.
