Easter Eggs (SPOILERS)

Pretty sure Christopher Reeve's face is there on purpose, the opportunity to give a nod to him in this movie is just too easy, especially in that particular moment/scene. I've noted it every time I've seen the movie and the more I watch it (seen it 5 times now, probably will at least 2-3 more times over the next week or two) the more I'm convinced it was done and does happen with purpose.

Snyder has said - when referring to the easter eggs - that there are quite a few but one "really really big one that I hope people notice" and most everything that's been noted so far could be considered "big" but doing this to me is the biggest one of all - maybe that's just me since I still consider Christopher Reeve to be "the one true Superman" never to be replaced.

I still think its coincidence Cavill does resemble Reeve slightly and they are using a ripple effect on his face so it looks like Reeve. Unless its confirmed then I'm standing by this.

yup, I don't really see anything and I tried for like 10 minutes to stare at different parts in that .gif that was taken down. No noticeable change or difference to me.

I definitely agree that it's entirely Cavill in that shot, though I'm torn 50/50 on whether the shot was purposefully set up as a homage to the Reeve image. Because the similarity to the pose and the way the lighting is set up is very similar to the Reeve image.

Why would it be a lighting trick? Cavill is getting his face meshed by the wind. Plus, he has 100% light facing him (thanks to the gravity beam).

The only closest thing is the pose that some people brought up. That's a nice Easter Egg. Plus, wouldn't they have to pay the Reeve Estate a hefty sum for Christopher's digital rights (comparing Brando's situation)?

Don't know if this was mentioned yet but... One of my work mates said their was a reference to Superfriends, the Copy Machine was called the "Trouble Alert" which was a call to all the JL members when their was... trouble...

i don't think it's a conincidence, considering they are using the same posture and same angle...
i think it's done with purpose.

I fully agree. I think the guy from True Blood (the brother who becomes a cop, cannot recall his name) would do a good Green Lantern or even a descent Flash.

Loved that show shame it ended on a cliffhanger. I still think Reynolds is awesome and I don't think GLs problems were anything to do with him it was mostly at the writing stage.
