People calling it perfection must be clouded by bias.

This movie was a mess. 6.5/10. Moved slowly, and quickly. Not much had weight. The whole middle two hours were just dull. Thanos was insulted. As was Thor. Just subpar. Disney had it's imprints all over it

Wow. This was THE WORST Marvel movie I have ever seen. I am used to seeing these movies at least twice because of how entertaining they are, but this one was just way too predictable and corny (yes, even cornier than your average marvel movie). Needles to say, I won't be seeing this again. And what kind of ending was that? Captain America is supposed to be this selfless altruistic warrior, existing only for the good of all humanity and as a necessary protector. But no, he has to take a petty turn at the end and be selfish which goes against everything his character is for. This is so bad, it's even more predictable than the version of the movie you had in mind after the last avengers ended. A friend literally said this after the last Avengers: "I hope they don't turn back time and bring everyone back. That would be lame." And guess what? They did just that. The worst movie to date. The only reason they made it was to end certain contracts with certain overpaid celebs and guess what? All the ones on the high end of the pay scale either died or became really old. Wow. This is the worst of the worst overproduced saccharin hollywood schlock garbage you'll ever see.

Isn't the whole premise of this movie the exact same thing that has already been done a million times, not to mention already recently done by the X-Men franchise???????? So predictable and lame I can't get over it.

Didn't like it..sorry if that's bothersome. But yeah, I guess I'm just tired of the style of these movies

Eh... I think the complaints you listed are... They just aren't born out by the film I saw. I think you are being very hyperbolic.

I was under the impression that people were supposed to tag spoilery materials here.
It's no problem for me as I've seen Endgame but as long as there are rules... etc etc. ;)

As far as Endgame is concerned, I really liked it. More than Infinity War actually. I tried so hard to be spoiler free and was largely successful. (It helps that I'm a bit of a hermit these days) There were a few things that left me wondering about the wisdom of using certain characters in the way that they did but overall the film was emotionally satisfying. Putting the focus on the original six was a really good idea... and it made up for the lack of them in the previous film. Each had their own individual arc... a culmination of many movies and their respective journeys taken.

I could be biased... wouldn't be the first time... ;) but I went in with an open mind... just as I always do with all the films in the MCU. But believe it or not, I found this one more cohesive and more intimate than its predecessor. Lots of epic moments and I teared up plenty in this one.

They were, I think mods aren't around much this weekend to help :/

Someone told me that Steve has a quantum GPS device kept him tethered to this (prime) timeline. He stayed with Peggy in our timeline, it didn’t break off into another line like every other instance. In effect there were 2 Caps, ours and Old Man Cap that stayed hidden. I think I need to watch the movie again to clear up

That doesn't make sense and contradicts what the Ancient one told Bruce and all the info we got about time travel in the movie. Splinter timeline and Cap returning after getting older is the only explanation

and they are able to jump from timeline to timeline[/QUOTE]

Well paced? The passing was all over the place, slow yet rushed, with jumps and plot holes. The movie wasn't executed well

Tony's death..he deserved better. It felt hollow and empty.

We must've seen different movies, then. Having seen it twice, this film is one of the best-paced films I've ever seen. 3 hours feel like 2, the only slower part is the 1st act and still lots of things happen in it to not feel dragged out.

And regarding
Tony's death,
you might wanna consider putting this into spoiler tags, like i did for you when quoting this ;)

Or they have opinions of their own?

LMAO I love how people are NOT tagging their spoilers. Wtf is the matter with you folks failing to do this? The thread clearly says TAG SPOILERS. Planning on reporting some of these ******* inconsiderate posts as clearly this has already ruined the experience for some users (sorry FTCBIRDMAN)

This is not a good weekend for mods to seemingly abandon this section :/

Really good ending. The epilogue kinda dragged a bit with Cap's send-off, though. Closing on Tony's funeral would've been better, IMO. But overall, really enjoyed it.
Agreed. You should spoiler tag this

They are all probably still watching the movie, or in the endless line to see it. :o

Seriously though I think a few posters are here merely to spoil the movie for other people under the guise of doing it "accidently". Looking at some registeration dates and post count numbers...

That's what I thought but others aren't convinced and they've assumed that there were two Caps in the main MCU timeline

The thing is, i cant speak for you but I only feel the movie was shorter than 3 hours and not slow is because I focus on predicting what past scenes they are going to bring back once they figure out the time travel bit. By the time it gets to the last jump which is Tony seeing his dad, it gets old. I really want to see the movie again but only for the third act.

The movie was too slow at the beginning, the final battle was too short. They should show Hulk transformation and Asgardian landing on Earth.
