How do you rate Endgame?

It was a really well made movie, and I'm glad that there's a kind of happy ending for the characters. I don't like some of the humor (e.g.
the undressing Thor with the camera when Rocket and Bruce visited him in New Asgard, to reveal, what? That he's fat now? That's the joke? And it was repeated throughout the movie with Rene Russo telling him to eat some salad
), I find it juvenile, but other than that I don't really have any serious issues with the movie.

Overall I had a nice viewing experience, though there were a couple of guys one seat away from me kept jumping in their seats (to the point that I could feel my chair rumbling). One even shouted
Oh he's maaaaaried!
at the end. So weird and annoying.

I haven’t heard much about Rocket in this, does he get his own chance to shine?

Lucky people. Already 4 pages!

Just a reminder folks....WHEN THE FRIGGIN TITLE OF THE THREAD SAYS USE SPOILER TAGS......THEN USE THE DAMN SPOILER TAGS!!!!!!

Damn :csad:

I do know the arc from the comics, but the other responses are making me worried and, please don't take offence, but your response is not alleviating that worry. I loved IW but hated what they did with Hulk, so I was expecting a grand payoff here which it seems us Hulk fans don't get.
Well, he‘s definitely different than in the other movies. It really depends on what you personally expect or want him to be. I liked him a lot, especially because of the symbolism of his “different“ character...

I haven't seen the movie but I already know my review will be a happy one. I'll come off as a fool to some movie buffs but the focus on fan service is perfect for me!

I enjoy movies as pure entertainment and fun as they're meant to be and simply don't care about filming process and all that stuff. All I want is at least a decent story, a fun time, characters I care about and a comic book movie being as comic book as much as possible!

I'm trash at writing reviews (among the other things) so I'll keep it short

There really isn't anything objectively wrong with the movie but in order to like it, you have to like the (quite bold) choices made by the filmmakers. If you don't, you won't like the movie; you may even hate it.

Unfortunately, I didn't like most of them. If Captain Marvel hurt my excitement for the future of the MCU, this movie straight up killed it. I know I'm being hyperbolic right now but disappointment stings.

Now to be fair, there's a prolonged sequence that it's incredible and worth the price of admission alone. But it ain't enough.

Here's my prediction regarding the movie: the general audience will probably love it, but fans will be very divided on it. Maybe not as divided as they were on Last Jedi, but I'm expecting an Iron Man 3-level backlash at the very least.

5 out of 10.

Wow that's some statement you've made bro. You stick by that opinion but theirs no way what ive bolded will happen imho. That film was straight up trash. The stakes in Endgame alone will put it ahead of that film.

I understand that some people might not like the Thor subplot, but it actually makes sense for a character that went thru what he did to have that kind of growth

I like Iron Man 3 a lot. But there's no way the same people who got pissed at the Mandarin twist will be okay with some of the things that happen in this movie.

Oooooh now im interested . I will PM you in abit .

I don't hate Captain Marvel, I just consider it a huge missed opportunity.

I may hate Endgame, though. I'm still not sure.

So there's a twist here comparable to the Mandarin twist?

No, there's no twist. But the movie
permanently changes the MCU and some its characters
in a way that some fans may not like. I didn't.

EDIT: Okay, I'm spoiler-tagging this post just to be sure.

Any word on Dr Strange in terms of screentime and storyline ?
Action wise ?

Oh and by the way, the movie failed to make me like Hawkeye. He's still the lamest Avenger.

He's in the movie
for a couple of minutes at most. He does one impressive thing and that's it.

That is a 100% what I felt even halfway through Endgame. After Captain Marvel I was already like... hmm... kinda dropped the ball there Marvel,
but they can pick it up again with Endgame. Instead in an attempt to reclaim the ball from the floor they kick it even further :(

EndGame review (non spoiler)

Let me start with Infinity War which i rewatched yesterday.
IW really did grow on me watching it for only the 4th time (i ve also watched some clips like millions of times).

I kept noticing stuff i missed before which is surprising and amazing.
One thing in perticular was the forshadowing when Black Panther says to Proxima and Cull "Thanos will have nothing but dust (pauses a bit)...and blood".

So funny i ididnt even notice they forshadowed the end of the movie.

My initial response/critic of IW was this.

I really really loved it. It was EPIC EPICNESS.
But it had a few problems. Nitpicks really.

1)It felt a bit jarring/confusing jumping from place to place. Mind you it didnt feel like that on my 4th viewing not even a bit. Kinda suprised here.

2)Star-Lords reaction to Gomorra dying and him not be able to compose himself and literally being responsible for Thanos winning kinda left me wondering.
I dont know what i dont like about it but it bothers me. Also Dr Strange could have easily cut Thanos in half with his portals. At least cut his arm. But im nitpicking here. We need to have a movie after all dont we.

3) Last thing that kinda bothered me was the cliffhanger and part 1 of part 2 nature of the film. Although again thats a "what can you do thing".

But overall i was immensly pleased and loved it. And it did grow on me. I love it even more now.

1 and 3 dont bother me anymore. Only the 2 still does. But still its nothing serious.
IW is an epic with a great story , great characters moments , great emotional moments, epic battles and stunning visuals , amazing music/score , a great villain and tons of surprises. Trully a 10/10 masterpiece.

Thor was my favourite part, i guess because his movies sucked the most before and they fixed him. I loved RDJs performance. Great as usual. His facial expressions were LIT.

Now off we go to EndGame. Without spoiling anything im gonna be as vague as possible.

Did i liked it ? Yes i liked it very much. 9,5/10 for me. Its extremely good but i found Infinity War slightly better. Time will tell if this movie grows on me.

The movie flows pretty well just like IW felt 2 hours instead of 2,5 EndGame felt 2,5 instead of 3.
The last act is definately epic. Some of the coolest momenets are there. Things you wanted to see but didnt happen so far they come to fruition. Lots of emotinonal beats. You will cry 3-4 times during the movie or at least feel sad.

The humor is mostly great. It didnt feel it was overdone like Ragnarok except that one continuing gag about one of the characters which kinda felt annoying at times.

Other than that no cons for me. The movie works. Again 9,5 out of 10. IW was a bit better overall.

I dont see how its divisive like some people say , maybe because it has a definitive end ? People probably are sad it ends ? I guess thats it. I could be wrong.

I cant wait to see it again 2 more times at the theater.

I went in tryhard accompanied by a friend , no foods and drinks on dehydration mode with only a pack of halls caramels and a strong will.

I just arrived at home minutes ago, writing all this , still trying proccess what i ve experienced. I didnt have any water or foods 3 hours before the movie and its been 6 and a half hours since then. Im gonna enjoy my Kellogs Special K Classic (i love this thing) and low fat milk now.

To everyone that is about to watch the movie in the next 72 hours have a good screening enjoy the film and Goodnight!

For those disappointed so much. Can you please tell me the highlights of what you did enjoy? I'm someone that tries be positive about most everything and focus on the bright sides, so I'm curious on stuff you all actually did enoy

Lol, maybe we should just pretend Infinity War was the end of the Infinity Stones saga.

Ant-Man and the Wasp
, Captain Marvel and Endgame are simply not worthy of being acknowledged.

I've avoided spoilers so far but from what I have read, it seems the route the Russos and the writers (forget their names, on is McFeeley I believe) took is going to make or break the film for some fans. Saying Endgame isn't worthy of being acknowledged Heavily leads me to thinking that some of you just didn't like the route they took. Which is a common problem with criticisms for most movies for the past decade or so. People have what they want to happen in their heads and if the movie doesn't go that route they trash it or overly criticize it instead of fairly reviewing the movie for what it is.

I could be wrong of course but a large amount of people now days seem to do that.
