just got home. this was an epic movie with epic storytelling. this was a pay off for all the time we invested in all the movies. i loved it. not sure if i loved it more than infinity war but i loved it.

ALOT of character interactions. super heavy action at the end in the last hour. sporadic action before that - but mainly character stuff.

i'm nor really sure how to articulate it but i walked out of that movie with a feeling of finality. like the entire MCU story is done. and now there's a new book coming out but i have zero clue where it's going to go and how/if they tie it all together with some overarching story like thanos. they did the infinity story so well that i find it's going to be super hard to top.

my only disappointment - not major hulking out and beasting.

A very good movie. I question some of the decisions made and there were many things that didn't make sense, but on the whole I enjoyed it very much.

The intimate character moments were by far the best parts of the movie and I'm glad the Disney bosses allowed a longer than usual run-time to showcase it. The action was good too, with some amazing moments involving one of the original Avengers.

Absolutely, if there's a character I've enjoy the most in terms of character arc it's Nebula's.

I loved that in the beginning when Tony was offering her the last remaining food, she thought for two seconds then just gently pushed it back to him. Just a quick scene but already let us know what a better person she has become over the last few films.

If that was the Nebula in 2014 she would have take it without any hesitation

It faaar exceeded my expectations. It was brilliant with an absolutely perfect ending.

I can't wait to see it again!

Yeah I also thoroughly enjoyed it. Honestly, as much as some people were saying the first two acts were slow I honestly kind of loved that fact that the first hour was pretty much a heavy drama. It's the second hour that kind of dragged at times for me, and I still don't know how much of it actually made sense or understood, but maybe a few more re watches will definitely help. I also kind of wish Thor and Hulk had more to do in terms of action, but I honestly didn't mind their characterizations here. The last hour and especially the last 30 minutes are perfection though and had me tearing up multiple times until I just couldn't contain it at the end. Such a perfect ending for Cap and Tony IMO.

Wow! Just wow! I'm having a difficult time formulating my thoughts here. There's a lot about this film that some may not be thrilled at, but from a character standpoint and how these characters would act/behave in the presence of what happened in Infinity War it makes perfect sense.

There are some gut wrenching moments, even bigger than what we saw in Infinity War, but the payoff is huge. At this point Marvel Studios is the undisputed King of Super hero films.

I will also say this, there's always the initial reaction of "this film is the best" and "Oscar worthy" and it gets thrown around too loosely. But I will say this film even more than Black Panther deserves a Best Picture nod, and even more than that Robert Downey Jr. deserves a best acting award, or supporting actor. I'm not sure his total screen time so I don't know which would be warranted.

This film deserves all the box office money in the world. I didn't think it was possible to beat Infinity War, but this film does it.

This is not a spoiler but for those of you bothering to wait around for post credit scenes/mid credit scenes don't bother. There are no such scenes and they would only take away from what was a perfect ending. I'm told that Kevin Feige is calling Spider-man Far from Home a phase 3 film, maybe the timeline in that film is supposed to be before Infinity War, and that might make sense, but this is the real close of Phase 3. This is the end chapter.

I know there will be some that question about who was brought back and who wasn't. I even have some questions about this, but the more that I think about it, the decisions made for this film make total sense for the context of this movie. Without giving things away the closest example I can think of is how Peter Jackson actually changed some of the Tolkien saga because he wanted the ring of power to have a real consequence shown on film, that's how the Russos treat the stones here.

This film is just a tremendous achievement and a celebration of what the MCU was and is, and while other films since have tried creating the shared universe, it will never have the same impact and gravity that this series has had.

Finally got to see this and I'm impressed with how they managed to tell such a grandiose story while still having the focus be on the characters. I have my critiques of the film as I don't the logic of it all works and personal issues on certain character choices made. I find it comparable to The Dark Knight Rises as it is a solid ending with some holes stopping it from true greatness. I think I'm on the minority when I say I preferred the first 2 acts over the final act and I didn't care much for Thanos story this time which is unfortunate as he was my favorite part of Infinity War.

8/10 maybe 8.5/10

Wow. This movie is balls to walls insane! The narrative is bold and direction of the Russos make it feel unlike any superhero flick I've seen yet. It's nothing like IW at all. Of course, u can pinpoint to flaws in continuity due to the complexity of its plot.
But u know what?.. I don't care one bit. It kept my eyes constantly glued to screen wondering what kind of zanyness is gonna happen next and that's more than what i can say for many movies.
10/10.

I am tired and it is hard to formulate my take on this spoiler free, but this may be my new favorite Marvel film.

It’s going to take a lot to dethrone Batman Begins and The Dark Knight as my overall #1, though. We will see how it holds up in subsequent viewings. Still, an amazing love letter to the 11 year history of the MCU.

along with "is Ned now 5 years older than Peter?" Clearly people were brought back from the moment they were dusted. They ceased to exist so why would they be older when they come back? And I assume Ned was also dusted and him and Peter being excited to see each other at the end is because they know what they've been through and are glad they're both alive *shrugs*
