Yeah, I guess that is a little better. Makes me wonder if she actually has powers as Jackpot or if she just somehow finds a way to start training her ass off...
What kind of powers? Luck? So she can be a complete clone of Black Cat?
What are the terms of this deal? What if she gets him to fall for her in the 'now'...does the deal fall through?
I had a thought.
Maybe without each other, MJ would've been a much more famous model/actress, and Pete would finally get his PhD.
Silver lining of an otherwise s***ty cloud.
We don't know, but I'd guess not. I'm thinking her goal is to do just that, but hopefully in the end, Peter's memory will be restored and they could just pick up where they left off.
Or ten years from now we will get a bunch of more antsy writers who will retcon this whole thing...
If you retcon a retcon does the 'orginal' thing become canon again?
PhDs would age Peter. Quesada would never allow that.
Ah, I get it. If Peter's unmarried, less educated than he really should be, and acting like a rookie half the time, Quesada and start saying he's 22 again, rather than nearly 30.
22? I wouldn't be surprised if Joe Q reveals that Peter's graduation was a farce put on by Skrulls and he needs to go all the way back to high school, where he'll perpetually be stuck in 11th grade.Ah, I get it. It makes it a little better, in my opinion. If the long running plot is MJ trying to find a way for Peter to remember with BND ending in their "finding" each other again, I'll pick up the back issues.
