We might get a better look in "Homecoming" when Brainiac 5 takes Clark to the future.
So is Brainiac 5 going to be a good guy in that? I can't tell from the spoiler page at KryptonSite.

I think it's a "I'm not fully materialized yet due to the portal thing so in the meantime I have to find bodies to inhabit until I fully mature" kinda thing.

BTW yes Brainiac 5 is a good guy from the future who works with the Legion.

If it's true that Jor-El gave Clark a new power.. to see dead people, it's possible Clark was given this power to see Darkseid, who is in ghost form.

Though I'm still confused how the Smallville afterlife works, Jonathan seems to indicate that days and linear time have passed for him since he died.

Kinda eerie how Jonathan's ghost is randomly roaming the Earth.

The most bizarre part for me was how Clark so easily accepted he was talking to his father, without any logical explanation. Especially considering the last time he did this, it turned out to be Brainiac.

I like the Smallville afterlife. I would totally haunt Lois' bedroom.

You'll probably see Lex, Lionel, Jonathan... and Jor-El there too.

Giving each other high fives.

For the ones paranoid about Jor-El, yes, it is him, producer/writer Al Septien confirmed it on twitter:

@alseptien Was that really Jor-El speaking to Clark? He was meaner than usual. lol

@therealcaramel yep. He's pissed... and he's lesson teaching

Reposting incase it was missed on the last page....

Am I the only one that loved it when Nabu was putting Chloe down. "Petty Girl, you are not the Chosen One."

Umm When did this happen?:huh::huh:

I just watched it again and all I saw was Chloe pick up the helmet and ask it to show her where GL was and it asked her "Would you sacrifice yourself to save the archer?" and she put it on, then it went to commercial. When it came back Chloe was out on the floor and Clark finds her.

I didn't see anything like what you said.:huh:

could it have been in the whispers before hand?

Dont forget Whitney.

"Why doesn't anyone remember me?!"
*runs away crying*

It just hit me that Clark and Lex are weiner cousins.

Indeed.

I also like that the first time Lois and Clark had sex it was in an alternate future that no longer exists. So Lois has ****ed Clark, but Clark hasn't ****ed Lois.

haha. true.

Yeah but since Clark was in Lois's head experiencing those memories, didn't he technically f*** himself?

Was he experiencing the memories as if he was Lois or was he just a third party witnessing the events that Lois lived through? I thought it was the latter.

We don't know. I just like to think it was from Lois' point of view. :D

Overall a good episode, enjoyed it a lot. Welling really delivered in this episode.
The older Lex was creepy but effective, the actor did his job well.
The DP globe scene was fantastic
The Fortress was looking better than it has the last couple of years.
Darkseid was just awesome.

But there are a few things that still piss me off. The suit for starters, it effin hurts my eyes just looking at it. At closer inspection it turns out that the shield in the belt is still there, cringed like hell when I saw it.
I'm glad they changed the cape, because this one looked amazing, but the rest of the original SR suit sucks ass. Really hate the fact that he might end up wearing that piece of **** suit.

Oh, and what's with Jor-El acting like a *****? Dude was such a *****e in this episode.

It was said as she was walking towards the case, you have to kind of turn your volume up to hear it but it was said. However he actually said "Foolish girl, you are not the Chosen One."

I don't mind the SR suit that much. The only that sucks about it imo is the small S.

you're right. the helmet does say that. You have to turn the volume all the way up.

I think it's around the 0:14 mark.

Indeed. I thought: "Oh, the Iron Giant is coming!" :)

Indeed. They didn't even need to introduce him yet. They could have stuck with Apokoliptic goons until midseason, and then introduce the god behind them.

They should have continued with Granny Goodness moving around mysteriously.

I hate the shield, but not because of it's size, even though it could stand to be a bit bigger. A small shield will only accentuate the actors physique.
My problem with this particular shield is the edge in the middle. Oh how I hate that damn thing.
Also the shield in the belt has.got.to.go.
