Ezra looks so adorable and likeable in the role! As fascinating and refreshing as Ben Affleck did in BVS even before the release of the film itself. His performances gives me an impression that he also seems to be paying attention to his surroundings very carefully. I accidentally stumbled upon some scenes from We Need to Talk About Kevin and he is extremely creepy and bewildering in the role that it made me very uncomfortable. Probably one of the best young actors right now. I seriously hope he becomes a much bigger star with DC or some other films. I think he absolutely deserves it.

Ezra's Flash is something completely unlike what we've seen in most of the DCEU thus far, and I think people are gonna love him.

I feel sorry for people who don't like Ezra's Flash, honestly it's the other way around for me, Ezra brought back my love for the Flash after CW and Grant completely disillusioned me. that show's turning to be such a disappointment with each new season, you won't believe the secondhand embarrassment I get

I am kinda the opposite, actually... his lines and quirky behavior that annoyed me in trailers, seem to work better in the clips themselves, when you get a better grasp of the scene. I still find it a bit forced and too much on some occasions, but I think it adds to the dynamic of the team as a whole, when opposed to the three rather stoic characters.

I don't believe I'll ever love Miller's Flash, but in this context, I think it works.

I am loving this Flash.

He's a normal guy(well with a complicated future) and he's been thrown into some high level stuff. He's fanboying and scared.

By the end he will become a much stronger hero.

Eh I'd be fine with him being mostly that in this movie, since flashpoint is coming up.
Which will no doubt be much more emotional.

I'm sure we'll get hints of that in this though.

that may change after the film comes out but so far i see Wally more than Barry.

It's almost as if the execution is just as important. Just by nature of being comic relief wouldn't necessarily whet people's appetites for it. It would have to be both well written and performed.

Jury's still out until we see the film of course, but my expectations have been lowered for Flash. Not at all feeling his exaggerated delivery and facial expressions in an obviously try-hard way of appeasing the tonality complainers.

Hopefully I'm dead wrong about it in full context. I was certainly pleasantly surprised by Gadot after being so down on her acting chops before.

I don't see Ezra's Flash as an entirely comic relief emptied of personality, but a more grounded and "normal" mindset despite his incredible powers. He is the enthusiastic, untrained and amateur. The whole story is insane and he is the kiddo with the attitude of "well, this escalated quickly".
